One of the most important questions people ask is, how large of a picture light do I need? It's important to remember that there are general guidelines but no hard and fast rules. The general guideline for traditional picture lights that have a two inch diameter shade, such as these House of Troy antique brass picture lights, is that the light should be at least half the width of the image you are trying to illuminate. The hands-on, immersive experience takes attendees on a fast-paced journey through life in the Air Guard by letting them participate in simulated challenges that replicate the real-life experiences of Air Guard men and women during basic military training, technical school and on drill weekend. Through simulation, attendees will learn how they can serve their country part time while maintaining a fulfilling civilian life, by serving one weekend a month and two weeks a year near their home. The interactive experience, which will tour state to state until December, highlights the traditional career path of a guardsman, and is designed to educate Americans about Air Guard’s dual role in serving our nation and local communities.

The Crane Fist Form of Ng Ying Kungfu aka Five Animal Kung Fu by grandmaster Patrick van Steen.
Five Animal Kung Fu is a traditional southern Chinese form of Martial Arts. The style was brought out to the public by grandmaster Christopher Fournier. Dutch martial artist Patrick van Steen was a personal student of Christopher Fournier and earned the warrior name Long Juan Feng aka Long Feng. Shifu Patrick van Steen opened his martial arts school in the year 2016. In June 2020 Christopher Fournier awarded master Patrick van Steen the title Da Shi.
Originally, this recording was never meant to be presented as a actual song but just with me goofing around with my music gear and my guitar "The DOG" just after I picked him up from the music pound. It started soon after my new friend at the time who hooked me up with the gear that I now use, must have thought that I was telling dog tales when I told him that punks used to brag that they would know someone who could blow me away with their guitar skills and I have never seen the day to which that has happened. I don't possess any particular guitar skills but when I put the Dog on my lap, he doesn't act like a traditional lapdog and he doesn't take kindly to strangers. Especially to cats who try to invade and rule the house. Well, a few days later he brought a 16 year old cat going by the name of Brandon...or Brendon along with some other cats to watch the event as B Boy was supposed to blow me away with his PRODIGY SKILLS. It was amazing to watch the boy perform Beethoven stuff and the kind of stuff you see on Youtube.
After he played his act with my Dog, he then handed the Dog over to me..."Hey hey..chuckle chuckle" ...I don't walk the Dog...He walk's me...I just tickle his neck and belly and then he'll pull off his Dog tricks to which I have no control over. I explained to my friend later that there's more to playing the guitar than just sitting a dog on your lap to perform tricks. You've gotta have some music to back you up to see how your dog keeps up with the beat and so I made this song up to show him how that's done. I made this one up real fast and tried singing for the first time and arranging vocal parts and just talked about whatever came to mind and just let the Dog do whatever he wanted to do. This is about as raw as it get's. The whole song took me about a week to do.

Today in Pompano Beach, Fla., The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company set the Guinness World Record® for constructing the World’s Largest Game of Cornhole to kickoff a week of celebration leading up to the 80th Annual Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on December 31 in Arlington, Texas.
Measuring an astounding 64 feet by 32 feet, the super-sized version of the traditional tailgate game, cornhole, was paired up with another larger-than-life college football tradition—the Goodyear Blimp. As their school mascots cheered from the ground, cheerleaders from Michigan State University and the University of Alabama flew more than 200 feet above the massive cornhole game board to toss beanbags out of Goodyear’s newest blimp, Wingfoot One. The students competed for bragging rights in the larger-than-life game of cornhole as their teams prepare to face off in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on New Year’s Eve. The epic game ended in a 1-1 tie.

At the heart of the ‘No Bollocks 2013’ campaign is a series of TV spots comprised entirely of still photo images intended to cut through the clutter of expensive, elaborate, overly produced advertisements typical of the beer category. Instead of using the professional actors or beautiful models normally featured in beer ads, the spots feature ordinary people drinking at real parties having a real good time (or a real bad time in some cases). The creative takes on traditional beer advertising gimmicks that imply that hand crafted workmanship and hand selected ingredients are unique to certain beers and that parties are made abundantly more fun with those same beers.
