Entenmann’s® Bakery, a division of Bimbo Bakeries USA, brightened the day of thousands of donut fans as they celebrated National Donut Day in the heart of Times Square along with the world famous Harlem Globetrotters. While consumers may claim to have a preferred brand of sparkling water and the ability to differentiate between their preferred brand and its competitors, their tastes may not as be fine-tuned as they think. A recent survey of sparkling water drinkers found that 83 percent of respondents say they had a preferred brand of sparkling water, and 59 percent of that subset said they could tell the difference between competing sparkling water brands. But participants in a blind taste test conducted by SodaStream yesterday had quite different views, based on their in-person experiences. The taste test, carried out in celebration of today’s National Hydration Day, found more discernment between competing brands, but tasters overwhelmingly preferred the taste of New York City tap water made sparkling using a SodaStream machine.

Clayton, one of the largest home builders in America, helped fulfill the dreams of an East Tennessee Children’s Hospital cancer patient by giving him the opportunity to design a Clayton home using CAD software commonly used at home building facilities.
Jake Clark, 16, became an honorary member of the Clayton team on Nov. 22 during a special ‘Team Jake’ celebration event at a home building facility in Bean Station, Tenn. His interests in construction projects with his dad, a home contractor, and his talents in drawing and 3D design made Jake the perfect fit to visit Clayton. While visiting the home building facility, the cancer survivor sat with a home designer and created a home model floor plan of his own, which was named “The Jake” in his honor.

From Feb. 26 to March 9, CITGO representatives, Miss America 2017-2018 State Titleholders and Bess the Book Bus will deliver brand new, free books to schools in 19 states, while special read-alouds for children will focus on the joy and importance of reading every day.
Founded in 2002 by Jennifer Frances, whose grandmother Bess O'Keefe fueled a love of reading from a young age, Bess the Book Bus aims to bring that same love of reading to children everywhere. In celebration of the second annual “Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented by Purina,” a show that will combine the stars of Hollywood with the stars of the dog world, Purina invites pet lovers across the globe to share the positive impact dogs make in our lives through its “Every Dog is a Star” program.
Dog owners are encouraged to log onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to post photos or videos showing how their dog is the true star of the family. For every original post submitted between March 26-April 8, using the hashtag #BHDogShow and tagging @Purina, Purina will donate five dollars (up to $25,000) to Mutt-i-grees, a program run by North Shore Animal League America. Mutt-i-grees helps show children the positive impact pets can have on their lives by teaching them important life skills such as empathy, friendship and kindness through interaction with shelter dogs. Purina and the Mutt-i-grees program share the belief that pets and people are better together and are committed to providing opportunities where these relationships can grow. The funds will be used to help expand the program to additional schools around the country.

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2018 (MTTS), the eagerly anticipated road rally for MINI owners hosted by MINI USA, kicked off this weekend from two separate locations on opposite sides of the country. Over the next five days, thousands of MINI owners will #DriveForMore to help raise money for charity partner Feeding America.
The two rally routes, each with more than 800 participants, started in Orlando, Fla., and Portland, Ore., on Saturday, July 14, and will meet in the middle at Keystone Report in Keystone, Colo., on July 20 for a weekend celebration of everything MINI. The bi-annual trek will cover more than 5,000 miles in total, traveling across America on state and county roads, stopping in 15 cities along the way.
