Para celebrar el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, la campaña Somos Fuertes de milk life y su más reciente Embajador de la Fuerza, el ganador del programa Chopped y chef famoso y propietario, Giorgio Rapicavoli se han unido para animar a las familias de todas partes a que añadan leche a esas deliciosas recetas latinas. El programa Somos Fuertes está diseñado para animar a los hispanos de todo el país a que empiecen y terminen su día con leche, y sus 8 gramos de proteína de alta calidad.
En homenaje a la ocasión, Giorgio ha preparado una serie de videos de algunas de sus recetas favoritas con leche, que se pueden encontrar en www.FuertesconLeche.com. Dans le cadre de son Tricentenaire, il était essentiel pour la Maison Martell de célébrer ses origines à Cognac, et plus particulièrement au sein du Château de Chanteloup, redécoré pour l’occasion.
Plus de 2500 viticulteurs, bouilleurs de crus et partenaires de la région ont répondu présent à l’invitation délivrée par les salariés de la Maison qui ont tenu à se mobiliser personnellement pour ces invités avec lesquels ils nouent des relations particulières. Ainsi, pendant un mois, ils ont sillonné la campagne charentaise afin de leur remettre en main propre ces invitations.
« Cette année est une grande année pour la Maison Martell, qui fête 3 siècles d’existence et de relations avec ces hommes et ces femmes de Cognac. Nous avions à cœur de convier pour cette célébration l’ensemble de nos partenaires locaux avec lesquels nous créons des liens privilégiés depuis près de dix générations – et nous l’espérons, pour les générations à venir » déclare César Giron, Président de la Maison Martell.

The largest Memorial Day observance in the United States happens on the beach in Honolulu, Hawaii with the Lantern Floating Hawaii 2015 ceremony, presented by Shinnyo-en, an international Buddhist community with Japanese roots, and the locally based Nā Lei Aloha Foundation. The ceremony takes place on Memorial Day, May 25, 2015. It is non-denominational and free to the public to attend. Youth homelessness charity Centrepoint and promoters SO-UK have brought together some of the biggest names in UK Soul, Blues and R ‘n’ B for one night only at Indigo O2 on 17th April to help give homeless young people a future.
‘SO-UK: Centrepoint Sessions’ is a sublime evening of UK Soul starring much loved artists from the UK soul movement: Carl McIntosh and the Loose Ends Experience, Omar, Junior, Imaani, Terri Walker, Don-e, Natasha Watts, Maya Blu, Femi Fem, Ronnie Herel, Fitzroy Facey (Soul Survivors), Sammy Confunktion – all keeping the vibe alive till the early hours. Young people supported by Centrepoint will also be performing during the evening.
