“Experience Day of Beautiful China” global tour event, hosted by China Intercontinental Communication Center, jointly guided by the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China, China National Tourism Administration and Chinese Consulate General in New York, has begun in the Thomson Reuters building in Times Square, NYC on Sep 14th, 2015.
As the partner of the event, Thomson Reuters gave strong support. Riordan William, Thomson Reuters’ director of global Internet, said: I deem it an honor that you came to Reuters to organize the event. I have been to China, and it is a very attractive country. The Ad Council today launched a groundbreaking public service campaign designed to encourage audiences to welcome and support refugees who have recently resettled in the U.S. The campaign aims to raise awareness, dispel misconceptions and connect audiences to EmbraceRefugees.org where they can learn more about the issue and find local resources to assist refugees in their communities. Launching to coincide with World Refugee Day, the integrated effort was developed with creative firm Tongal and its global network of filmmakers, marking the first time in the Ad Council’s 75-year history the organization has created a new campaign through crowdsourcing. The public service ads (PSAs) debuted this morning and will be distributed to media outlets nationwide this week.
“America has a proud legacy of welcoming refugees. In return, they serve their communities and our country -- as teachers and soccer coaches, as nurses and engineers, and as members of our armed forces,” said Heather Higginbottom, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources. “Refugees are thoroughly checked and we apply the highest security standards, so every community can welcome those who are resettling with open arms, as we would with any new neighbors.”

KitchenAid is expanding its popular line of black stainless major appliances to include a number of new built-in and freestanding ranges and refrigerators. Originally launched in 2015 as the industry’s first appliances with a black stainless steel finish, the collection will feature a total of 54 appliance models by the end of the summer, including refrigerators, wall ovens, ventilation hoods, dishwashers, under counter beverage centers and more. With the upcoming additions, KitchenAid will have one of the most complete offerings of black stainless appliances in the industry.
“The feedback we’ve received on our black stainless finish from consumers, the design community and even professional chefs when we first introduced it has been overwhelmingly positive,” says Beth Robinson, senior manager of brand experience for KitchenAid. “We’ve made it a top priority to expand our black stainless appliance portfolio to include even more options so that virtually any consumer can have a black stainless suite, regardless of their kitchen layout.”
