New earth-friendly packaging is showing up in stores now, just as the winery releases its first-ever “Earth Day Report.” The report shares how far Frei Brothers has come — and how far it wants to go — in its pursuit of “preserving natural resources without compromising the integrity of the wine.”
The line-up of eco-upgrades for the brand includes bottles that use less glass, corks that use more of the tree, and capsules and labels that create less waste.

Mission Park, marks the debut feature film for writer/director Bryan Anthony Ramirez and producer Douglas Spain (Star Maps, Band of Brothers). The film opened with a national platform release in select Santikos Theaters on September 5, 2013 in San Antonio, TX as well as AMC Theatres in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City on September 6, 2013. Then it will expand this Friday September 13th in Bakersfield, Salinas and Pittsburg, CA through Maya Cinemas and in Houston, TX via Santikos Theaters. This summer HGTV reveals a new opportunity for an undiscovered design virtuoso to win his or her own show on the network in HGTV Star, a new twist on HGTV’s classic design competition, Design Star. Premiering on Sunday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the seven-episode series features 10 creative finalists who must tackle unexpected design challenges assigned by host and mentor David Bromstad and impress the panel of design experts, including network stars Genevieve Gorder, Vern Yip and series newcomer Sabrina Soto.
