Two of HGTV’s top experts, Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott, stars of the Property Brothers, are in an all-out battle to win HGTV’s newest competition series, Brother vs. Brother. The six-episode series, premiering on Sunday, July 21, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, pits Jonathan’s skills as a licensed contractor against Drew’s experience as a real estate agent as they and their teams vie to execute the smartest home renovation upgrades and score the biggest property-value increase. Each week the results of the completed home renovation is evaluated by the discerning eyes of HGTV real estate stars, including Mike Aubrey (Power Broker), Kennon Earl (Selling LA) and Hilary Farr and David Visentin (Love It or List It). While the 6’4” identical twins brothers go head-to-head to win championship bragging rights, the competing teams stop at nothing to take home the $50,000 grand prize

This summer HGTV reveals a new opportunity for an undiscovered design virtuoso to win his or her own show on the network in HGTV Star, a new twist on HGTV’s classic design competition, Design Star. Premiering on Sunday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the seven-episode series features 10 creative finalists who must tackle unexpected design challenges assigned by host and mentor David Bromstad and impress the panel of design experts, including network stars Genevieve Gorder, Vern Yip and series newcomer Sabrina Soto. In addition, special guests including Susan Feldman, co-founder of shopping web site One King’s Lane; Sara Peterson editor-in-chief of HGTV Magazine; and HGTV’s Property Brothers Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott, appear in designated episodes this season to raise the stakes in this winner-takes-all competition.

There was much more to watch and celebrate yesterday than the big game. Thousands of football-themed costumed pets and their owners took to the streets of the Soulard neighborhood in St. Louis Sunday, Feb. 3 to join the huge tail gate party and march in the 20th annual Beggin’® Pet Parade.
Annually attracting more than 8,000 pets and 80,000 people, the Beggin’ Pet Parade is one of the largest pet parades in the world. The parade holds the Guinness World Records™ for “Most Dogs in Costumed Attire,” achieved during the 2012 parade.
