I've been really anxious to take another stab at making an Electronic song with the little that I have to work with and still make it BUMP like a Bungee Jump. I'm patting myself on the back for this one because so far, I'm the only one who has heard it and I'm my own biggest fan. I said to myself "Steve...... This bump's like a bungee jump." ...... Naturally, I didn't answer myself back so..... Yeah..... Everything's cool..... WOW !!!!! .... This really Bump's ...... That's because I make it Bump ...... With my Bumpermatic .... " BUMP ..... BUMP !!!!! ...... You son of a bumper !!!!!"
Como preámbulo al estreno de la tan esperada serie “Celia”, TELEMUNDO transmitirá tres especiales dedicados a la “Reina de la Salsa”. La programación especial comienza el sábado, 10 de octubre a las 8pm/7c con el tributo “Celia Cruz Azúcar”, un especial del concierto que le rindió homenaje en el año 2003. A las 10pm/9c se hará un recorrido por su vida personal y profesional a través de “Nuestros ídolos: Celia Cruz”. El martes, 13 de octubre, a las 7pm/6c se emitirá “Celia por Siempre”, seguido por el estreno de “Celia” (8pm/7c), la serie dramática que narra la vida y el legado musical de una mujer que lanzó su carrera en medio de la revolución cubana, en una era en que las cantantes femeninas no podían ocupar un lugar en los escenarios. Adicionalmente, TELEMUNDO rendirá un homenaje a la legendaria cantante cubana, Celia Cruz, con un tributo musical durante los primeros “Latin American Music Awards” en vivo desde el Dolby Theater en Los Ángeles, este jueves, 8 de octubre a las 9pm/8c.
“Celia Cruz Azúcar” (10 de octubre, 8pm/7c), será una emisión especial de dos horas del concierto homenaje del 2003, conducido por la presentadora de Un Nuevo Día, Rashel Díaz. El especial contará con las presentaciones musicales originales del concierto, ensayos y una entrevista con Celia y su esposo, Pedro Knight, además de entrevistas con los artistas que participaron en el concierto, recordando esa noche mágica y los momentos inolvidables con la legendaria cantante cubana. Las entrevistas incluyen artistas de la talla de Víctor Manuelle, Olga Tañón, entre otros.

A wonderful musician and friend of mine has recently departed from our world and is now starting his new life under God's great care and guidance. Nikos will do very well in Heaven and will even delight the angels with his goodwill and music. "I am reaching out to you now from this world Nikos to present you with my gift of this song for you. The melody came to me immediate in my grief. Now with great joy, I embrace you as my eternal friend. There is no end for you now my friend Nikos. Only eternal bliss and fulfillment..... I suppose that I will have to behave myself a little bit more if we are to meet again and go fishing as I have promised.
PS my friend. I do not own a flute, nor did I have any simulated flute sounds that I could use for this song and so I came up with the idea of recording the sound of the timer from my microwave and by stretching it out, I believe that I now have a most beautiful flute sound. Originally, this recording was never meant to be presented as a actual song but just with me goofing around with my music gear and my guitar "The DOG" just after I picked him up from the music pound. It started soon after my new friend at the time who hooked me up with the gear that I now use, must have thought that I was telling dog tales when I told him that punks used to brag that they would know someone who could blow me away with their guitar skills and I have never seen the day to which that has happened. I don't possess any particular guitar skills but when I put the Dog on my lap, he doesn't act like a traditional lapdog and he doesn't take kindly to strangers. Especially to cats who try to invade and rule the house. Well, a few days later he brought a 16 year old cat going by the name of Brandon...or Brendon along with some other cats to watch the event as B Boy was supposed to blow me away with his PRODIGY SKILLS. It was amazing to watch the boy perform Beethoven stuff and the kind of stuff you see on Youtube.
After he played his act with my Dog, he then handed the Dog over to me..."Hey hey..chuckle chuckle" ...I don't walk the Dog...He walk's me...I just tickle his neck and belly and then he'll pull off his Dog tricks to which I have no control over. I explained to my friend later that there's more to playing the guitar than just sitting a dog on your lap to perform tricks. You've gotta have some music to back you up to see how your dog keeps up with the beat and so I made this song up to show him how that's done. I made this one up real fast and tried singing for the first time and arranging vocal parts and just talked about whatever came to mind and just let the Dog do whatever he wanted to do. This is about as raw as it get's. The whole song took me about a week to do.

Powered by the Toyota Corolla, these artists will share their journey through real-time social media content. The series, “Musica y Destinos con Toyota,” kicked-off on Friday, July 31 with Becky G (@iambeckyg) sharing her musical experience at Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago. The iconic festival featured a diverse range of musical acts, including Paul McCartney, Sam Smith and Metallica.
During the three-day event, Becky G met with Gogol Bordello, a Gypsy-punk band known for their authentic energy and theatrical stage shows. Highlights from the meet and greet were shared via Facebook @ToyotaLatino and @BeckyG, and Twitter @iambeckyg. The artist also captured short videos of her adventure through her story on Snapchat, available to followers.
And the musical ride continues this weekend when Sofia joins Toyota for the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, Aug. 7-9. The three-day festival features performances by Billy Idol, Kendrick Lamar, Mumford & Sons, Axwell & Ingrosso, Twin Peaks and Clasixx, to name a few.
