Singer/songwriter Nick Jonas has type 1 diabetes and personally checks his blood glucose levels up to 12 times a day with the CONTOUR USB® meter. He is working with Bayer Diabetes Care to remind people with diabetes to learn about the importance of blood glucose testing and what has an impact on blood sugar levels, including certain foods, types of exercise, emotions and stress levels. Testing frequently, in accordance with a doctor’s guidance, helps a person with diabetes make important choices throughout the day to stay within a target blood glucose range.
