before recording "shepherd´s song" Conny Plank took a long break to mix a Kraftwerk-concert in the Hamburg Markthalle. When he returned he brought a lot of friends with him and up in smoke we went
- that night we really forgot to record the 6 minutes jazzy part of the song; the only thing left is a real strange final chorus, that everybody in the studio at that time( about 3 a.m) who joined in spontaneously
the next morning we departed for our hometown. all I remember is:

I've been really anxious to take another stab at making an Electronic song with the little that I have to work with and still make it BUMP like a Bungee Jump. I'm patting myself on the back for this one because so far, I'm the only one who has heard it and I'm my own biggest fan. I said to myself "Steve...... This bump's like a bungee jump." ...... Naturally, I didn't answer myself back so..... Yeah..... Everything's cool..... WOW !!!!! .... This really Bump's ...... That's because I make it Bump ...... With my Bumpermatic .... " BUMP ..... National blood stocks have fallen by 7% over the jubilee weekend according to latest figures from NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) which today launches its annual awareness campaign, National Blood Week, to urge the public to donate blood.
During the National Blood Week recruitment drive additional appointments have been created and selected blood donor sessions have extended opening hours to give donors more flexibility to schedule a visit. Regional recruitment events will also be driving awareness and enabling people to sign up.
To launch the 2012 National Blood Week, Made In Chelsea’s Rosie Fortescue has rolled her sleeves up to recreate the heroic ‘Rosie the Riveter’ WWII poster and issue a rallying cry for new and existing blood donors to come forward. Rosie Fortescue, who shares her name with the 1940s poster girl, said: “This woman clearly knew how to get things done, and I feel honoured to become a modern day campaigner for the national blood stock build. Blood supplies are vital to the health service and every unit of blood can save or improve the lives of up to three people.”
