Remembering those who were lost by helping those in need; that's the meaning behind Charity Day at Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading financial services firm, and its affiliates BGC Partners, Inc. and GFI Group. On September 11, 2018, dozens of celebrities - including President Bill Clinton, Mr. Tony Blair, Common, Saquon Barkley, Alec Baldwin, and more - participated in the firms’ most successful Charity Day event to date, raising more than $12 million in a single day for various charities around the world. Charity Day also kicked off an effort to raise $5 million for Puerto Rico to help families affected by last year’s Hurricanes Maria and Jose to rebuild their homes and their lives.
Each year, Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC Partners and GFI Group donate 100 percent of the global revenues generated on Charity Day to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and, to date, have raised approximately $159 million globally since its inception in 2005.

Today, Colgate-Palmolive, in partnership with the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), kicked off its annual Oral Health Month campaign with a special launch event at Los Angeles’s Plaza Mexico. To help raise awareness about the importance of a healthy smile, the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® mobile dental van was on-site to provide bilingual learning materials and free dental screenings to children. • JUICY WHITE MEAT- Who needs to roast the whole turkey when you can just bake the best part? The turkey breasts and legs cook at very different rates, which means that one will not be properly cooked. Instead, focus on cooking the turkey breast perfectly, roasting it at just the right temperature and saving a lot of time in the process.
• FRESH & FAST- It’s chilly out which makes us gravitate towards creamy, cheesy, heavy dishes. Want a little balance? Make your favorite potato casserole but off-set it with a delicious & easy arugula-pomegranate salad or butternut squash and ricotta crostini. Fresh dishes are usually the fastest to prepare!

Armando Christian Perez, also known as global music superstar Pitbull will perform LIVE at AT&T Stadium during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game on FOX against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, kicking off The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign. The halftime performance marks the 18th year the Dallas Cowboys have partnered with The Salvation Army to launch the campaign, which raises millions of dollars throughout the holiday season. Donations help provide meals and shelter for families, Christmas toys for millions of children, in addition to numerous other social services programs year-round such as substance abuse programs, shelter and counseling for victims of domestic violence, and military veteran assistance.

J.Crew brands has announced their continued participation in a fall denim drive in partnership with Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program in J.Crew and Madewell retail stores. The drive first kicked off in 74 Madewell stores on August 12, while J.Crew's 269 participating stores started the program on August 21. Both brands have decided to extend their participation in the denim drive - J.Crew will host until December 31, 2014 and Madewell will host until January 31, 2015.
