Me at the organ of St John Vianney Catholic Church in Clayhall, London. Im playing the old tune "If I could help somebody" and using the organs electrostatic melotone unit blended with the Tibia for most of the melody and to round it off I use the Triangle! The organ was originally installed at the Ritz Cinema in Nuneaton and has 3 manuals, 6 ranks of pipes and of course the melotone unit. It was designed by organist Harold Ramsay. When this church was built in the late 1960s, rather than spend large sums of money on a new organ the priest at the time was a cinema organ enthusiast and had this organ brought and installed here. The organ is used for the sunday services, weddings, funerals and other church activities and regular concerts are organised by the cinema organ society.

Diese Reifen sind ohne Ausnahme unterm Strich entweder empfehlenswert (7) oder sehr empfehlenswert (4). Dabei begutachteten die GTÜ-Experten gemeinsam mit den Testern des ACE Auto Club Europa die Reifeneigenschaften auf dem Gebiet Sicherheit etwa bei nasser und trockener Fahrbahn sowie in den Bereichen Umwelt und Wirtschaftlichkeit. I've played several theatre organs built by Compton and Wurlitzer but never a Christie until today! Im playing "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" on the Christie theatre organ at the Social Welfare Hall in Harworth near Doncaster. The organ was originally built in 1934 for the Essoldo cinema in Durham and had 2 manuals and 7 ranks of pipes. It was installed here in the 1960s and had an extra manual and some extra ranks of pipes added. When playing a cinema organ my aim has always been to try and play as they did in your average 1930s surburban cinema. In otherwords - knock out the tune! The emphasis these days tends to be on "orchestral" styling etc.

Beim diesjährigen traditionellen GTI-Treffen am Wörthersee präsentierte Skoda gleich fünf sportliche Modelle. Highlight war die zweifelsohne die Weltpremiere der Studie Rapid SPORT. Außerdem mit dabei der neue Octavia Combi mit Sportpaket, den Citigo Motorsport der Fabia RS Motorsport sowie der erfolgreiche Rallyewagen Fabia S2000. Der Rapid SPORT zeigt das Potential des Skoda Designs und die Möglichkeiten, die im Rapid stecken. Das Fahrzeug ist in den Metallicfarben Corrida-Rot und Steel-Grau lackiert. Satt und markant steht der Sportwagen auf seinen wuchtigen 19-Zoll-Leichtmetall-Rädern. Die Fahrzeugfront besticht durch Spoiler und den kraftvoll gestalteten Lufteinlass in der Schürze. Großzügig dimensionierte Kotflügel und massive Schweller unterstreichen den Auftritt des Fahrzeugs. Weitere sportliche Akzente setzt das Heck mit dem voluminösen Stoßfänger und zwei integrierten Auspuff Endrohren. Pünktlich zur Markteinführung des neuen Octavia Combi präsentierte der tschechische Autobauer auch ein Sportpaket für den Lademeister. Zur Ausstattung gehören ein Frontgrill in glänzendem Schwarz sowie ein rot-schwarzer Frontspoiler. Die Spiegelkappen und die Dachträger sind schwarz-glänzend, der Heckdiffusor in Rot und Schwarz gehalten. Pure Dynamik zeigt auch der Citigo Motorsport: Wirkungsvoll kontrastiert die weiße Wagenfarbe mit schwarzen Längsstreifen auf der Motorhaube und dem dunkel verglasten Panoramadach. Ein spezielles ‚Sport-Kit' umfasst Front- und Dachspoiler sowie Heck-Diffusor, jeweils in der Farbe ‚Deep Black'. In der Frontansicht fällt ein dekorativer schwarzer Streifen am unteren Stoßfänger ins Auge. Der ŠKODA Citigo Motorsport steht auf 16-Zoll-Leichtmetallrädern, alternativ in Weiß oder in der Kombination Schwarz-Metallic/Silber. Ein kompaktes Kraftpaket ist der Fabia RS Motorsport - Edition UK. Das Fahrzeug ist in Candy-Weiß lackiert, dazu gehören schwarze Elemente als spannender Kontrast: Das Dach ist schwarz, ebenso der Frontgrill. Die Frontscheinwerfer sind schwarz hinterlegt, die Nebelscheinwerfer schwarz eingefasst. Die Dachlinie endet mit einem schwarzen Spoiler. Getönte Scheiben betonen den sportlichen Charakter. Ein besonderer Hingucker in Reifnitz war der Rallyewagen Fabia S2000. Das Fahrzeug gehört zu den erfolgreichsten Autos des internationalen Rallyesports. Die Leistungsfähigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit des Fabia S2000 legte die Grundlage für eine Vielzahl an Skoda Rennsiegen. So zählte die Saison 2012 dank des Fabia S2000 zu den erfolgreichsten Jahren in der Motorsportgeschichte von Skoda. Auch in der laufenden Saison zeigt sich der Fabia S2000 weiter von seiner besten Seite mit Siegen in der Rallye-Europameisterschaft und der Weltmeisterschafts-Kategorie WRC-2.
