Kings Dominion – home of the bigger, better Planet Snoopy – kicks off the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day weekend with the opening of WaterWorks, Kings Dominion’s 20-acre water park which is included with the price of admission.
Kings Dominion will also honor our nation’s heroes with Military Days May 25 – 27 and Dominion at Dusk which features a firework show, Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular with more than one million LED lights and Street Beats, an all-new dance party on the famous International Street. Dominion at Dusk will operate during every 10 P.M. park closing from May 25th through Labor Day weekend.

As the country celebrates the 45th anniversary of Earth Day, Dallas-based nonprofit Earth Day Texas gears up for its fifth annual event. Founded in 2011, the organization expects more than 75,000 attendees during the three-day event.
Earth Day Texas takes place April 24, 25 and 26 at historic Fair Park in Dallas.
Confirmed speakers include Karenna Gore, author and daughter of Al Gore; Bill White, former mayor of Houston; David Yarnold, president of the Audubon Society; Dan Patrick, Lt. Seven-time Grammy Award winner Paul Winter will perform on Saturday, April 25, at 4:30 p.m. Grammy nominated artist Michael Martin Murphey will perform on Sunday, April 26, at 4:45 p.m.
