Western China International Expo Center has an area of 300,000 square meters divided into 16 halls in eight pavilions, including 15 standard exhibition halls and one multi-function hall. Each pavilion is connected by passages inside except the external transportation hall. WCIEC (Western China International Expo Center) adopted steel shuttle-shaped truss columns structure which widens the unblocked view with the no-column design the interior. Meanwhile the conception maximizes the usage efficiency of the pavilions which to lower the amount of steel used in construction.

Available in three models, the 72’’ Counter-Depth French Door Bottom Mount refrigerator features a slide-away split shelf that allows three quarters of the shelf to retract to accommodate taller items, up to 16.75 inches. Connections Academy, a leading provider of online K-12 schools, released results today from its annual parent satisfaction survey measuring families’ satisfaction with their Connections Academy virtual school experience. The survey also reveals reasons why families are choosing Connections Academy for their children. In the 2015-16 school year, 30 Connections Academy-supported schools in 26 states served students with a top-tier, personalized education.

With 830 women dying every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth, and over 16,000 children under age five dying daily, Bayer and the White Ribbon Alliance today released critical policy recommendations and launched community programs to support the reduction and prevention of maternal, newborn and child mortality in two developing countries.1,2
Established through a three-year $1.3 million commitment from Bayer, these programs will expand work conducted by White Ribbon Alliance in Bangladesh and Zimbabwe to support the United Nations Secretary General’s Every Woman Every Child movement.

Following a 16-month restoration, the new Tonga Village at the Polynesian Cultural Center opened Saturday, June 11, in a ceremony steeped in culture and celebration, highlighted by the presence of the Royal Family of Tonga.
His Majesty King Tupou VI, joined by his wife, Her Majesty Queen Nanasipauu, made a special trip to participate in the ceremony as a tribute to the people of Tonga and the spirit of the Tongan culture being perpetuated at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
King Tupou VI addressed the audience, praising the Polynesian Cultural Center for its dedication to showcase culture. “The Polynesian Cultural Center is a window the world can look through to understand lesser-known islands and their people,” said King Tupou VI. “The Tonga Village fosters pride in the cultural identity of our people and allows them to preserve and pass on that love to our younger generations.”
