Famed dancer, actress, and director Debbie Allen has teamed up with Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT) today to kick off “Join the Pace Makers,” a national campaign designed to empower people with a condition called bradycardia, also known as a slow heartbeat, to learn about their available treatment options so that they can have an informed conversation with their doctor.
People living with bradycardia can experience a number of symptoms ranging from general lethargy and shortness of breath to fainting or syncope. There are a number of treatment options available, including medication therapy and implanting a pacemaker, which delivers electrical pulses to help regulate a person’s heartbeat.

A Chopped event like no other, Chopped All-Stars features unbeatable drama, a $50,000 charitable cash prize and 16 celebrated chefs familiar to Food Network fans. In this fierce five-part competition hosted by Ted Allen, premiering Sunday, March 6th at 9pm ET/PT, four chefs go head-to-head in each round with an unthinkable array of mystery basket ingredients. The champion from each round advances to the finale for a chance at taking home the prize and coveted title. From teething biscuits and rabbit kidneys to dried hibiscus flowers and cobia, these chefs must crank up the heat and get creative to avoid the chopping block. Competitors include Food Network stars like Anne Burrell and Duff Goldman, former contestants from The Next Food Network Star, recurring Chopped judges, and renowned chefs like Anita Lo and Jacques Torres. Judges for this special series include Chopped favorites Alex Guarnaschelli, Marcus Samuelsson, Marc Murphy, and Chris Santos.

Food Network’s top-rated hit Chopped All-Stars returns for a second season filled with fan-favorite chefs, unexpected ingredients, and fierce competition for a $50,000 prize for charity on Sunday, April 8th at 9pm ET/PT. In each of the five themed episodes, hosted by Ted Allen, four specially selected chefs are challenged to create three masterful courses from ingredients in the mystery basket, ranging from beef tendon and crawfish, to black beans with queso fresco and chicken feet. Chopped All-Stars kicks off with Iron Chefs battling in the Chopped kitchen, followed by competitions between Food Network/Cooking Channel show hosts, Food Network Star finalists and Chopped judges. A rotating roster of top-notch judges will decide who gets “chopped” each week, leading up to a final showdown between the four episode winners on Sunday, May 6th at 9pm ET/PT, where the $50,000 grand prize to the winner’s charity of choice will be awarded.
