I bought this Drill Hole Saw for drilling holes in some very hard porcelain tile. They worked exactly as needed. I chucked the 1″ bit inside a drill press, constructed a little dam with modeling clay across the hole to hold a small amount of water and ran the bit at a slower speed. It cut an attractive hole fairly quickly. I can’t communicate to their long-term sturdiness, although following cutting a dozen=plus holes the bit was nonetheless executing well. Overall, I was extremely happy with the price/performance ratio – nicely worth the money.

Alstom and Virgin Trains have unveiled a new look for one of the fifty-two high-speed tilting Pendolino trains serving the West Coast Main Line.
The train, renamed “Alstom Pendolino” by Virgin Trains CEO Tony Collins during a ceremony at Euston station, London, now displays a specially designed Alstom branding alongside that of Virgin. This is in recognition of the successful partnership between the two companies, established in 1999, which underpins the delivery of a world class intercity service. More states are allowing a relatively new breed of vehicle on public roads, but crash tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety show why the mix of low-speed vehicles (LSVs) or minitrucks and regular traffic is a deadly combination. LSVs are designed for tooling around residential neighborhoods, and minitrucks are for hauling cargo off-road. While these vehicles have a lot of appeal as a way to reduce emissions and cut fuel use, they don't have to meet the basic safety standards that cars and pickups do, and they aren't designed to protect their occupants in crashes.
