Part 5 of a 6 part documentary I made in 1998, ten years after the release of I Should Be So Lucky in the UK. It looks at the ever changing musical journey Kylie's career has taken, set to the soundtrack of Impossible Princess.
If I Were a Mouse, written by Karma Wilson, shows a child imagining what fantastic adventures might unfold if he were several of God’s many amazing animals. I remember one part of the Kingkong movie. When the girl tried to entertain the big gorilla in order to spare her from hurting or eating her. In this clip, the last cookie tries to entertain the boy by dancing but at the end, he became his last bite. Check out this clip and I am sure you will love it.
Me at the Burton-on-Trent Wurlitzer theatre organ playing "The first time I saw you" which makes use of the Glockenspiel and Xylophone used together.
The organ was originally installed at the Forum Cinema in Wythenshaw - a suburb of South Manchester - not far from the airport. There are 8 ranks of pipes and as standard on British theatre organ layouts, these are divided into 2 enclosed chambers as follows:
CHAMBER 1: Open Diapason, Flute, Violin, Violin Celeste
CHAMBER 2: Tibia, Tuba, Trumpet, Vox Humana.
And of course there are the usual percussions and novelty sound effects such as Fire Bell, Bird Whistle etc. This instrument does not feature a piano.
