With continuous expansion of Sinopec's services, the financial report system data rapidly increases. “With the increasing applications in these years, our user base and service plane grow continuously and more and more data needs to be processed. In the era of Big Data, efficiency data processing and analysis was high on the agenda." said Li Jianfeng, Deputy Director of the Information Management Department of Sinopec, "We decided to use SAP Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) HANA after comparison. But this technology cannot work without a hardware platform. Finally, we chose Huawei as our long-term partner to test and optimize the platform."

HP today unveiled the world’s first commercially available HP Moonshot system, delivering compelling new infrastructure economics by using up to 89 percent less energy, 80 percent less space and costing 77 percent less, compared to traditional servers.
Today’s mega data centers are nearing a breaking point where further growth is restricted due to the current economics of traditional infrastructure. HP Moonshot servers are a first step organizations can take to address these constraints.

Today, European construction giant and international contractor VINCI Construction and French solar innovation specialist Sunpartner Technologies announced a new 50/50 joint venture and launched a new connected smart glass window dubbed “Horizon.” The two companies initially partnered in April 2016 to develop and market innovative photovoltaic solutions for construction applications.
Featuring photovoltaic panels and multiple sunlight sensors, the new Horizon opacifying and communicating window can be adapted to any project, from new construction to renovations.
