The Capital Grille today announced that seven of California’s great female winemakers and collaborators, including award-winning actress Drew Barrymore, will come together to celebrate women and wine as part of the restaurant’s seventh annual The Generous Pour event.
The Generous Pour will celebrate the unique role women play in winemaking with this year’s offerings. From July 6 through August 30, 2015, for $28 per person with dinner*, The Capital Grille will offer eight remarkable wines crafted, designed or owned by women from some of California’s most acclaimed vineyards. Guests are invited to explore and enjoy as many of these remarkable wines and varietals as they like.

The Air National Guard (ANG) is proud to announce the return of the Air National Guard Mobile Experience. The hands-on, interactive tour returns to the road for a fifth year to immerse participants in an experience that simulates the real-life roles of Air Guard men and women and highlights the ANG’s dual role, supporting both federal and state missions.
While participating in the tour, attendees learn how they can serve their country and maintain a fulfilling civilian life, by serving one weekend a month and two weeks a year near their home. The Air National Guard Mobile Experience includes five separate touring vehicles each designed to educate the public about the ANG. The touring vehicles are traveling nationwide through November, visiting fairs, festivals, air shows, fitness and music events.

The welcome address at this year’s Forum was delivered by Sergei Prikhodko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The Forum programme was unique in both scope and the subjects covered by a total of over 150 events.
This year, a new approach was taken to forming the interesting programme, involving the expert community.
According to the participants, “the discussions were more substantive, direct and open and the ideas expressed at the sessions will undoubtedly be of use in their work going forward”.

The IV Eurasian Higher Education Leaders Forum (EHELF) took place at Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan, June 10-12. Each year, more than 300 attendees, industry leaders, from different parts of the world participate in discussions and panel sessions at EHELF.
The theme of this year’s Forum was “Graduate Employability in the 21st Century: key competencies and modern labor market.” “Nazarbayev University took the initiative and created EHELF, a platform for discussing pressing issues in higher education in Kazakhstan as well as globally. Our Steering Committee researches and chooses the most relevant topics for the Forum each year. The topic of EHELF-2015, employability of graduates, employment and labor market, is relevant for us,” - says Shigeo Katsu, the President of Nazarbayev University. “Nazarbayev University is a unique university established in partnerships with some of the world’s best universities. And this year, we are graduating our first cohort of 446 undergraduate and graduate students. Mahindra Group subsidiary, Mahindra Aerospace has been awarded a large aero-components production contract by Airbus Group company, Premium AEROTEC of Germany. The multi-year contract envisages the manufacture and supply by Mahindra of a variety of metallic components that will be fitted into several Airbus aircraft programs as part of assemblies produced by Premium AEROTEC.
Mahindra Aerospace’s deliverables under this contract will be in excess of a million parts per annum. The parts will be produced at the new Mahindra Aerostructures facility located at Narsapura, near Bengaluru, India. Deliveries to Premium AEROTEC’s facilities in Germany are scheduled to commence this year. Announcing the contract award during the 2015 Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, senior representatives of the Airbus and Mahindra groups mentioned that this contract is aligned with the Indian Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and validates the two Groups’ commitment to accelerate India’s participation in the global aerospace industry while simultaneously creating high-growth opportunities within India’s burgeoning aerospace and defense eco-system.
