Measuring 185.37 square feet, the Tiny House aims to bring communities together around food, with the Tiny SPAM® kitchen serving as the heart of the home. The Tiny House will travel coast to coast, sharing delightful dishes and simple recipes served right from the Tiny SPAM® kitchen, proving what SPAM® lovers already know – nothing beats the sound, smell and taste of SPAM® brand products sizzling in the frying pan.
Highlighting the brand’s versatility to be paired in many different ways, the Tiny House’s menu will feature unique, on-trend recipes created by locally-recognized chefs and influencers alongside SPAM® brand favorites such as SPAM® Musubi and SPAM® sliders. The tour’s signature dish will be a Spicy SPAM® Breakfast Burrito recipe created by standout celebrity Chef Jordan Andino. Additional local chef and influencer partners include Hawaii native Chef Bradley Lum and noted Detroit influencer Lori Yates from Foxes Love Lemons.

Zelda was found filthy, hungry and matted. Barely recognizable as a dog, her rescuers cleaned her up to reveal a tiny Shih Tzu. Unfortunately, Zelda’s story is similar to the nearly 8 million other animals entering shelters each year. That’s why Wahl has teamed up with GreaterGood.org to donate funds and grooming supplies to shelters nationwide. The goal: Transform more than 20,000 dogs this year and get them ready for adoption.
“Due to lack of resources, less than half of dogs entering shelters are getting the grooming they desperately need,” says Shay Moeller, pet product manager for Wahl. “First impressions are crucial, and without proper grooming, many of these dogs are perceived to be ‘damaged goods.’ By providing shelters with much-needed grooming supplies, we can transform these dogs into the healthy, fun loving pets they really are.”

Clayton, a Berkshire Hathaway company and one of the leading builders of manufactured, modular and site built homes, will feature architect Jeffrey Dungan’s Low Country floorplan from the Designer Series Tiny Homes collection on Saturday, May 6, at CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb. during Berkshire Hathaway’s Annual Shareholders Meeting.
This year Berkshire Hathaway shareholders will be invited to tour the Low Country, a Clayton tiny home design from the Designer Series. These small modular homes are built indoors at a Clayton home building facility in Addison, Ala. specifically fitted to build Clayton Tiny Homes. The facility is ISO 14001 registered for green building practices, and the tiny homes are built to the International Residential Code (IRC). This small modular home is designed for permanent living and exemplifies the growing trend toward smarter living spaces with luxury amenities and clever storage solutions.

As the country celebrates the 45th anniversary of Earth Day, Dallas-based nonprofit Earth Day Texas gears up for its fifth annual event. Founded in 2011, the organization expects more than 75,000 attendees during the three-day event.
Earth Day Texas takes place April 24, 25 and 26 at historic Fair Park in Dallas.
Confirmed speakers include Karenna Gore, author and daughter of Al Gore; Bill White, former mayor of Houston; David Yarnold, president of the Audubon Society; Dan Patrick, Lt. The Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. Ralph camera aboard the New Horizons mission will provide the closest images we have ever seen of Pluto when the spacecraft arrives at the dwarf planet on July 14.
Ralph, the main “eyes” of New Horizon is designed to help scientists map the surface geology of Pluto and its moons, and investigate Kuiper Belt objects. The small but powerful Ralph weighs only 23 pounds and operates on approximately seven watts, the power of a standard night light. The entire telescope operates around 220 K (-60°F) in the cold darkness of the outer solar system. After a journey of more than nine years, Ralph will capture the first ever close-up snapshots of Pluto when New Horizons passes within 7,000 miles of the tiny, icy dwarf planet.
