For a group of budding business people, living with senior citizens for five days gives impetus to their dreams. It also encourages innovation that could improve the lives of the aging. They are all participants in Brookdale’s Entrepreneur in Residence program, part of the company’s “Rewiring Aging” initiative to enrich seniors’ lives through technology. Recently launched by America’s largest senior living provider, the program offers those entrepreneurs developing products and services for seniors the opportunity to move in for that period of time so they can better understand the true wants and needs of the aging.
“The majority of start-ups focus on younger markets, but we have seen a growing number of entrepreneurs interested in building solutions for seniors and their families” said Andrew Smith, Brookdale’s director of strategy and innovation. “The 80 and above age group is America’s fastest-growing population. We believe there’s an enormous opportunity to enhance seniors’ lives with new technologies, services, products and business models. This program gives entrepreneurs a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we hope will inspire even more innovation for the aging.”

I've just decided to upload this one since I created it back in 2007. One way of knowing that one of my songs is older is if there's any guitar in it. Although I still have my guitar, my Fender Sidekick started to short out back in 2011 and still serves me well as a coffee coaster or an ashtray table. Even the original warranty never told me that this baby would last me for a lifetime as a vital tool for my everyday living needs as I still need a nearby coffee or smoke to work on my more recent ventures.
If diagnosed early enough 90% of melanoma cases can be treated effectively. An exclusive study carried out by Ipsos for La Roche-Posay in 23 countries across all continents looks into the different attitudes to the sun and general knowledge of the risks associated with exposure. A massive 88% of those questioned are aware of the risks of developing skin cancer when exposed without protection to the sun. However, just 1 in 2 of those questioned have ever consulted a dermatologist for a mole screening and 1 in 4 of them have never even checked their own moles on their body.

When costume seekers shop at Goodwill, they help people in their communities get job training, earn jobs and access other community-based services. Sony Pictures Animation’s “Hotel Transylvania 2” will be released in theaters nationwide on Friday, September 25, 2015.
The partnership includes a radio and television campaign, which will join the Goodwill brand with the world of “Hotel Transylvania 2.” Characters from the film are featured in the ads, encouraging people to shop at Goodwill for Halloween. There will also be partnership events in up to 50 markets across the nation. Shoppers can support Goodwill by making it their go-to Halloween destination, and the revenues from their purchases will help fund employment services in their local communities.
