STOUFFER’S®, provider of premium-quality frozen entrees, today announced that it will be simplifying recipes according to its new “Kitchen Cupboard” commitment. This new initiative will focus on shortening and simplifying recipes and only including ingredients consumers might find at home, like vine-ripened tomatoes, freshly made pasta, and real mozzarella. This effort will begin with STOUFFER’S Lasagna with Meat and Sauce, one of the brand’s classic offerings. The simpler recipe will now contain fewer ingredients, but continue to offer the same great taste consumers know and love. “What you put on the table matters to you, which is why what we put into each dish matters to us,” said Chef Robert Fedorko, Director of Culinary Innovation of Nestlé USA, STOUFFER’S parent company. “STOUFFER’S upholds a standard of providing great tasting meals made with quality ingredients and culinary expertise. We’re excited to share our Kitchen Cupboard commitment so that consumers can continue to feel confident in serving STOUFFER’S meals to their families.” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7904951-stouffers-kitchen-cupboard-commitment/

Every 26 seconds in America, a student drops out of high school. State Farm today announced the launch of a campaign to address this startling statistic and engage those who can most directly affect change – young people themselves. The campaign titled “26 Seconds,” will use interests – like music, sports and video – to engage youth. It will provide an online venue for youth to express feelings on the issue and creatively share thoughts and talents – encouraging them and their peers to make graduation a priority so they become more than a statistic. The program’s tagline “BMOR” underscores this call to action. To view Multimedia News Release, go to http://multivu.prnewswire.com/mnr/26seconds/49098/

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is launching a new series of public service announcements (PSAs) to help raise awareness and deepen the understanding of the hospital’s lifesaving mission through real St. Jude heroes – its patients and families. St. Jude has not produced national PSAs since 2003 and timed this new multichannel campaign to coincide with the hospital’s 50th anniversary. The PSAs share St. Jude moments through patients and families like 10-year-old Angiel. Angiel and her mom Damaris were planning a trip to Africa for a family reunion when she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that produced tumors in both of Angiel’s legs. Today, thanks to St. Jude doctors, Angiel can still look forward to visiting family in a foreign land one day. Angiel’s story is just one of several patients featured in the PSAs. Every 23 seconds, someone in the United States is diagnosed with diabetes. It's estimated that one in 11 Americans has the disease—more than 29 million people—and another 86 million have prediabetes and are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The numbers alone are staggering, and the people affected by the disease include those who have diabetes and their friends, family, caregivers and communities. American Diabetes Month®, observed by the American Diabetes Association® (Association) every November, is a time to focus the nation's attention on the many people who are affected by diabetes and to raise the urgency about the need to address diabetes. To help spark a national conversation, the Association is asking people to share their stories about what it truly means to live with diabetes with a new campaign, This Is Diabetes™. Inspired by the heartwarming smile of a child, and the millions of photos that moms proudly post online of their children every day, the TYLENOL® brand’s SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign is a simple way to share those adorable, smiling photos for a good cause. The power of SMILING IT FORWARD™ was set in motion today by How I Met Your Mother star and social media mother of two, Alyson Hannigan. By sharing the first “smile” of her two daughters Satyana, 4, and Keeva, 1, Hannigan triggered the first donation from TYLENOL® to Children’s Health Fund, an organization well-known for its mobile medical clinics that provide healthcare services to underserved children throughout the U.S. Now, until mid-January, moms across the country can join in by sharing their own smiles at SmilingItForward.com, prompting TYLENOL® to make a $1 donation to Children’s Health Fund, up to $100,000, helping to ensure a doctor’s visit is always within reach for children in need.1 To view Multimedia News Release, go to http://www.multivu.com/mnr/62078-tylenol-moms-smiling-it-forward-alyson-hannigan-children-s-health-fund
