This Veterans Day Americans around the world will honor their fellow citizens who have served their country. The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) offers ten ways you can show your appreciation this November 11th. ABMC, an agency of the U.S. federal government, manages America’s overseas, military cemeteries from World War I and World War II. Some of the best ways to honor our fallen is by learning about the men and women who gave their lives in these conflicts. More than 200,000 Americans are buried or memorialized overseas. They were brothers, fathers, sons, daughters, mothers, wives, and friends who left the United States to defend freedom abroad. In a matter of minutes, you can honor these men and women on Veterans Day. To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7529551-abmc-honor-veterans-day/

Trekking through the Himalaya (with a short stop at Mt. Everest’s base camp), sailing the Ganges River, crossing the North Pacific Ocean on a container ship, meditating with monks in a Tibetan monastery – these are not the typical activities you might expect during a family vacation with two young children. But the Kirkby family is on an extraordinary adventure halfway around the globe – and inviting everyone to come along. Travel Channel’s mesmerizing and cinematic new series, “Big Crazy Family Adventure,” premiering Sunday, June 21 with back-to-back episodes at 9:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, follows wilderness guide, writer and award-winning photographer Bruce Kirkby throughout this epic trip – from his home in Kimberley, British Columbia, to a remote monastery in the Himalaya – with his wife, Christine Pitkanen, and their two young boys: Bodi, 7 and Taj, 3. There’s just one catch: on their 13,000-mile adventure they won’t be taking ANY airplanes. To fully experience the life-changing and serendipitous moments that exploring the world provides, they’ll get to their final destination through surface travel only – canoe, container ship, ferry, high-speed train, river boat, tuk tuk, pony, their own eight feet and more. The series is comprised of nine, hour-long episodes. To view the Multimedia News Release, go to http://www.multivu.com/players/English/70380510-travel-channel-big-crazy-family-adventure/

Life with our four-legged friends is so much fun that it inspired dog owners across the country to write a jingle about it. Yesterday, Country Music star Trace Adkins selected Dewey Longuski of Mason, Mich. as the Grand Prize winner of the Waggin’ Train® Tail Waggin’ Jingle Contest, which asked dog owners to create an original jingle with lyrics describing how they enjoy a “tail waggin’ good time” with their best buddies. As the Grand Prize winner of the national contest, Longuski won the opportunity of a lifetime to perform his jingle in a recording session produced by the Country star. The Pick A Powder Campaign Launches Its Funniest Video Yet – 6-foot-6 Trace Adkins Trying to Get Into Richard Petty’s No. 43 Stock Car Memphis, TN/Concord, NC – Country music superstar Trace Adkins, and racing legend and NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty are at it again. The humorous rivalry videos where they are shown in each other’s world are now appearing online as part of the Pick A Powder Program. The one launching this week shows 6-foot-6 Trace attempting to get into Richard Petty’s No. 43 stock car. Since the campaign started, they have been going back and forth with each other on Facebook and in videos, all in an effort to get the most fans on their team and to show they experience more pain than the other. BC Powder and Goody’s Headache Powders, the brands Adkins and Petty represent, are going head-to-head in an online contest. The BC and Goody’s “Pick A Powder” campaign plays off the fierce and generational loyalty users have to either Goody’s or BC. Both Adkins and Petty will try to get their fans around the country to pick their team to support: Team Richard for Goody’s and Team Trace for BC on www.pickapowder.com. The man who gets the most fans to join his team will get to see the other “perform” LIVE at the Goody’s 500 in Martinsville, Va. next spring. The campaign will feature a charity component with a donation being made to the Wounded Warrior Project on behalf of Adkins and BC, and Victory Junction Camp for seriously ill children on behalf of Petty and Goody’s.

The all-new Toyota Camry is here with a striking new look and a hot new marketing campaign that’s set to tap into drivers’ emotions and the sensations they will feel when driving the vehicle. While purchasing a Camry continues to be a smart and rational choice, the 2018 Camry now delivers the magic and excitement drivers crave. These emotions are highlighted in the “Sensations” campaign, which compels drivers to love the new Camry for all the “wrong” reasons. The campaign will cover multiple media channels, including broadcast, cinema, social, print, digital and out-of-home placements. Rather than telling customers how it feels to drive the all-new Camry, this campaign shows them through impactful and evocative imagery that clearly conveys a specific feeling generated by some aspect of the Camry’s styling, safety, technology and performance. The goal of the campaign is to introduce people to an inspiring, more emotional, more exciting driving experience that will make every driver feel special. http://www.osv.ltd.uk/toyota.php There are cars that get your heart racing – cars that go fast, look mean and deserve to be driven by rock stars. The Toyota MK3 Avensis is not one of those vehicles. The sensible hauler seems to be the perfect car for an accountant or librarian. Even though it isn’t the most inspiring machine, the Toyota does have many respectable qualities...See more http://www.osv.ltd.uk/toyota.php

Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County is in the midst of unprecedented economic development, with new research revealing an influx of affluent visitors as the driving force behind new travel and hospitality-related construction and investment. The average annual income of domestic travelers to the destination has reached $112,563 – almost 25% higher than the national average, according to a comprehensive analysis of the domestic travel market in the United States by research firm D. K. Shifflet & Associates Ltd., commissioned by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. That is a dramatic 15.5% increase from the destination’s average in 2012 of $97,517, placing Greater Fort Lauderdale among the top leisure destinations in the U.S., and well above the national average visitor income of $90,591. This increasing appeal to affluent travelers has led to a record-breaking 14.3 million tourists spending $11.4 billion annually in the destination, which is situated along Florida’s famed Atlantic Ocean coastline between Miami and Palm Beach.
