Service members and their families stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, one of the largest training bases for the U.S. Army, received a special visit on May 3 from The First Lady, Dr. Biden and Astronaut Mark Kelly. They were joined by lifelong literacy advocate LeVar Burton, the host of Reading Rainbow®, for a story time event for students on-base at Thayer Elementary School. The event was part of the White House’s Joining Forces initiative. Celebrating its 5th anniversary, the initiative works to ensure that service members, veterans, and their families have the tools they need to succeed throughout their lives.
Burton, whose father was in the army and mother an English teacher said of the event, “I was truly honored to be asked to join the First Lady, Dr. Biden and Captain Kelly for the book reading to children of military families. I know from personal experience the sacrifices they and their families make every day on behalf of our nation.” Burton also added that the event was especially important as it focused on reading. “Literacy is the gateway to children reaching their full potential as human beings.”

Brazilian football legend, Ronaldo Nazario, was in Barcelona this week to take part in an invitational charity poker tournament as part of Spain’s biggest annual poker festival, the European Poker Tour (EPT). The tour, which is now in its tenth season runs from August 26 – September 7 in a luxurious annexe of Casino de Barcelona in the Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Pretty much the kitchen sink with everything that I've been learning since listening to Electronic, Ambient and Dub-step music to put together my home made Electronic stew with just a pinch of paprika. If you don't like it, I won't force feed you like I do my goldfish. They can just float on their backs and play dead like my hamsters do. All the more fish food for me. However, if you do like this, I would recommend it with sushi or a can of high grade pork and beans. This song contains no automation, digital by-products or artificial flavors. Robert Morris University marked its 90th anniversary Tuesday evening during a celebration at its new School of Business complex, the centerpiece of a $40 million fundraising campaign.
Robert Morris was founded on Sept. 21, 1921, in downtown Pittsburgh as the Pittsburgh School of Accountancy. The new 18,000-square-foot School of Business complex, which includes The PNC Trading Center, The United States Steel Corporation Video Conferencing and Technology Center, and The ATI Center, gives the university’s business school its first official home at its suburban Pittsburgh campus.
