We have been at the CeBIT in Hanover. Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel and the Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff opened the worldwide most important event for the digital industries. A robot has been presented, which should help elderly people in daily life and visitors could have a test drive with Formel-1 pilot Jenson Button.
The German government employees called out for strike in some parts of Germany. There is no public transport is available for visitors of the CeBIT 2012 in Hanover. Residents who are able to give visitors a lift have a red symbol in their car.
Final preparations are now underway for the 112th installment of the Canton Fair, China’s biggest trade event set to run from October 15 to November 4, 2012 in Guangzhou. In this time of global economic uncertainty, concerted efforts have been made to ensure that the Fair continues its track record of great commercial success.
