Sometimes, a reliable set of wheels is all that stands between a veteran and their dreams. This month, more than 100 veterans and their families will be getting keys to newly-refurbished vehicles as part of Progressive’s fifth annual Keys to Progress® event. This year, Progressive will donate its 500th vehicle. The vehicle giveaways will occur on November 9 at 68 locations across the country, including Progressive Service Centers, one-stop facilities where Progressive handles claims and coordinates repairs for customers.

Presented here is the new EM Super-Jet Printing press, a two color printing press for envelopes with 6” cylinders and a multi purpose envelope feeder.
Vertex’s responsibility was the design and engineering of all plastic and sheet metal parts, as well as, exterior covers design and engineering driven by ergonomics and user interface with the press.
As part of the EM series Vertex Product Development Inc. was also responsible for the Jet EM printing press which is a two color printing press for envelopes with 3” cylinders and a Dual-Feeder option. The objectives in this effort was to use as many common parts as possible with the EM Super-Jet press to lower stock and minimize part numbers in the BOM (Bill of Material), as well as, to add new product to the EM press family.

EPIC Global Media and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announce the release of a documentary and branding commercial on Ghana. The productions, which are a part of the Ghana Multimedia Branding Campaign, will begin airing in December on Bloomberg Television and CNBC Europe, reaching a potential 250 million households in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the USA. As part of the ninth annual National Preparedness Month (NPM), the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Ad Council unveiled a new series of public service advertisements (PSAs) as part of their Ready campaign. Created pro bono by advertising agency Leo Burnett, the new PSAs emphasize the message that “you never know when the day before is the day before” by utilizing imagery of infamous natural disasters juxtaposed with comparatively idyllic imagery what it looked like the day before the destruction.

On average, 27 percent of water consumption in the home comes from flushing it right down the toilet, which is completely avoidable – that’s not even mentioning the water lost by old or deteriorated flappers that leak.
