Professional Photographers of America (PPA) will launch its international Super 1 Day photo workshops on Monday, October 6. For two weeks, professional and aspiring professional photographers from around the world may participate in one-day intensive training workshops. The event runs through October 20 in over 100 cities throughout the U.S., Canada, Korea and Australia and is open to both PPA members and non-members.

In an effort to help parents better understand why ignoring dental health can have serious consequences, and educate families about good dental health habits, the Ad Council and The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives created new Public Service Ads (PSAs) for the Kids’ Healthy Mouths campaign. Despite a dramatic increase in participation over the last decade, a new household survey commissioned by the Afterschool Alliance finds a significant gap between the demand and supply of afterschool programs. The 2014 edition of America After 3PM, which includes responses from 30,000 U.S. families, finds that for every child enrolled in an afterschool program, there are two more who are not and whose parents would enroll their child, if a program were available.
