Beginning Sunday, October 25, Harry Potter fans will get the chance to step inside the famous wizard's magical world when the exhibition opens to the public. Visitors will be able to experience dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts™ film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes and props from the films. The exhibition will run through February 21, 2010.

NOAA’s Joint Polar Satellite System-1 (JPSS-1) is encapsulated inside the fairing (nose cone) of a United Launch Alliance Delta II launch vehicle ready for lift off from Space Launch Complex-2W at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, on November 14, 2017 at 1:47 a.m., PST. JPSS-1 is a collaborative effort between NOAA and NASA.
“The JPSS-1 bus is based on our Ball Configurable Platform 2000, a proven, agile spacecraft, which has 50 years of on-orbit operations and is designed for cost-effective, remote sensing applications,” said Alex Chernushin, JPSS-1 Program Manager, Ball Aerospace. “JPSS-1 is the twelfth spacecraft built on this core architecture, including the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) spacecraft launched in 2011.”

I bought this Drill Hole Saw for drilling holes in some very hard porcelain tile. They worked exactly as needed. I chucked the 1″ bit inside a drill press, constructed a little dam with modeling clay across the hole to hold a small amount of water and ran the bit at a slower speed. It cut an attractive hole fairly quickly. I can’t communicate to their long-term sturdiness, although following cutting a dozen=plus holes the bit was nonetheless executing well. Overall, I was extremely happy with the price/performance ratio – nicely worth the money.
