Children International, a U.S.-based humanitarian organization, has seen that comprehensive, targeted programs provided in a caring environment empower youth to escape the traps of poverty. The organization’s 2012 Youth Report explains how.
More than one-third of the world’s population, nearly 2.5 billion people, live on less than US $2 a day according to The World Bank. Employment can be life-changing for these people, but poverty is a hard trap to escape when it is all you know. Fifteen of 17 booster seats introduced in 2012 earn the top rating of BEST BET from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, evidence that more than ever, manufacturers are designing seats to provide good safety belt fit for booster-age children.
The improvements mean that BEST BET boosters now outnumber seats in any of the three other categories for the first time since the Institute released its inaugural booster ratings in 2008. Boosters are supposed to improve how adult lap and shoulder belts fit children so the belts can properly restrain them in crashes. BEST BET boosters correctly position belts on a typical 4-to-8-year-old child in almost any car, minivan or SUV.

For the first time ever, an orchestrated stampede of more than 40 horses stopped all traffic on a portion of the famous Las Vegas Strip as Shania Twain marked her arrival into Las Vegas by making a grand entrance via horseback to her new home at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Fans and visitors lined the street in front of the iconic Caesars Palace fountains to welcome Shania as The Colosseum’s newest resident artist. The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts, the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts and arts education, announced today that entries for the 2013 Poster Design Competition will be accepted through January 31, 2013. The Competition winners will earn tuition scholarships to study at one of the more than 50 Art Institutes schools, including a full tuition scholarship for the national first place winner in the high school senior category.

There was much more to watch and celebrate yesterday than the big game. Thousands of football-themed costumed pets and their owners took to the streets of the Soulard neighborhood in St. Louis Sunday, Feb. 3 to join the huge tail gate party and march in the 20th annual Beggin’® Pet Parade.
Annually attracting more than 8,000 pets and 80,000 people, the Beggin’ Pet Parade is one of the largest pet parades in the world. The parade holds the Guinness World Records™ for “Most Dogs in Costumed Attire,” achieved during the 2012 parade.

Your home printer, a stencil image, a huge stencil designer (I used RonyaSoft Poster Printer software (http://www.ronyasoft.com/products/proposter/)), scissors and glue is all you need. You can try to design your own stencil or use a photo or an image you like and turn it into the big stencil.
I used RonyaSoft Poster Printer software because it is the best software for creating a large poster, funny sign, colourful banner or advertisement at home. And believe or not, no special poster size plotters are required to make a poster; and a standard home or office printer will suit perfectly.
