Six Flags Over Georgia prepares to take to the sky as the countdown begins for the launch of the park’s newest thrill ride, SkyScreamer. The park’s newest addition was previewed today by media and VIP guests. SkyScreamer opens to the public on Friday, May 24, 2013.
At 242 feet, SkyScreamer is 40 feet taller than the park’s mega-coaster Goliath, and will give passengers a thrilling view of the Atlanta skyline. Thirty- two riders will sit two across in open air swings while spinning to the top of the tower. At full swing, guests revolve in a 98-foot circle at speeds of 40 mph.

An estimated 4,000 new production solar homes were built in California last year, ten times the number built just seven years ago during the housing construction boom. When I think of “Country”, I think of holding onto things passed down, going to Grandma and Grandpa’s on Sundays to watch TV and socialize as a family, playing Kick the Can with anyone who could still run, picking a guitar under an old oak tree surrounded by farm land, but more importantly ~ family. If you are a country music fan, it has more than likely influenced your life and to many, a large part of it. Country music to me is about the good stuff, telling stories, and life in general. Not making a political statement, but I would like to see Country Music take a step closer to its roots… even if only a small step.
