changing community attitudes to drink driving in order to curb the road
toll. Victoria has witnessed significant success in changing consumer
attitudes and behaviour, with a majority of the community now believing
that drink driving is socially unacceptable.
Kids are willing to do almost anything to get the toys they want for Christmas according to Walmart’s Talking Holiday Toys Survey, which found that 68 percent of kids said they would clean their rooms daily for a year, while 84 percent would work hard and give up playtime. But every child has limits; only 23 percent of kids would eat spinach for a year to get their holiday toys. The Walmart–commissioned survey also found that mom and dad favor educational toys and are focused on price.

An important collection of sculpture from the 19th and 20th century to come up for sale at Bukowskis in Stockholm on December 4.
Bukowskis has been entrusted to sell a major sculpture collection, once owned by the family behind the Swedish chocolate brand Marabou, Throne-Holst. The total value of the bronzes is ca EUR 2,23 million. The collection includes pieces by master artists such as Auguste Rodin, Jean Arp, Lynn Chadwick, Henri Laurens, Aristide Maillol and Arnaldo Pomodoro.

Under the direction of afimilk, the largest, most comprehensive dairy farm project in the world has entered its third year, and is operating in five of 12 farms with 23,000 cattle. The project, located in Vietnam, was planned and constructed by on-site afimilk experts.

Researchers at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, formerly Children’s Memorial, are embarking on a pioneering study to understand the extent to which healing spaces promote health and healing during hospitalization. A major focal point of the study will be the Crown Sky Garden, a 5-thousand square foot garden on the 11th floor of the 23 story hospital. The garden, named in honor of Chicago’s philanthropic Crown family, includes dozens of bamboo trees, an interactive wall that changes colors as people walk by and carved benches made from trees planted by Frederick Law Olmsted (designer of the famed Central Park) for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
