This July 4th, America’s national Independence Day celebration will kick off the festivities for our country’s 238th birthday with an all-star salute led by our country’s favorite host, two-time Emmy Award-winning television personality Tom Bergeron (DANCING WITH THE STARS). Broadcast live on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, the event will feature performances by: Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Frankie Valli; Grammy Award-winning music legend Patti LaBelle; platinum recording artist and songwriter Philip Phillips; multi-platinum recording artist and actress Jordin Sparks; the world-famous Muppets; five-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Michael McDonald; country music superstar Sara Evans; singer-songwriter Kendall Schmidt from BIG TIME RUSH and HEFFRON DRIVE; and five-time Tony Award nominee and Broadway star Kelli O’Hara; with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly.

Food Lion today pledged to donate 500 million meals to families in need by the end of 2020 through its new community relations platform, Food Lion Feeds, which will focus on hunger relief. To mark the launch of Food Lion Feeds and kick off its new commitment, the grocer will donate 1 million meals in five days between June 9 and June 13 as part of a Week of Giving.

TianNing farm, a new dairy project in China’s Ningxia province is off to an impressive start. The design was coordinated by Afimilk and equipped with Afimilk’s milking system and herd management system, the farm was planned to house 6,000 cows and 4,000 heifers.
