Christina Christian is most widely recognized for her dazzling performances on American Idol. When her season of American Idol ended, she was one of the four contestants that were signed to a recording contract. Christina always loved to sing and as she was growing up, her musical mentors were Whitney Houston, Bette Midler and Patti LaBelle. The pristine, sugary white sand of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., once again will draw master sand sculptors from around the globe for the 24th Annual American SandSculpting Championship & Beach Festival on Nov. 10-14, 2010.
Competition will be keen as 17 master sand sculptors who together hold at least 35 world titles descend upon the destination, with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the world championship in September 2011. This is the second year that the Fort Myers Beach competition will be one of only 11 qualifying sites for the world championship.

A cinema organ in a church! Me at Beer Congregational Church, Devon playing "Puff the magic dragon". This is actually a Wurlitzer organ originally built for the Picture House cinema in Walsall, West Midlands - the very first Wurlitzer to come to the UK! The organ was installed here in about 1957 and is now being restored to its former glory.

This year over a half a million people filled Victoria Park. Participants from around the world created fantastic floral worlds.
