Alex Emanuel, a lifelong Rolling Stones fan was left feeling like a rock star when he met his heroes while touring Exhibitionism - the first exhibition on The Rolling Stones held at London’s Saatchi Gallery until 4 September.
New Yorker Alex was genuinely shocked when he turned round after a tap on the arm to be met by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood, whilst enjoying the Recording Gallery within the critically acclaimed, blockbuster exhibition.
As Alex exchanged handshakes and back slaps with his heroes, he said afterwards: “It’s going to sound silly but for a moment I thought I was a member of the Rolling Stones. It’s not every day you get to meet your idols.”
Unlocking their vast archive, Exhibitionism is a Rolling Stones treasure trove, curated over 9 themed gallery spaces with 500 items from original stage costumes, rare instruments and lyric books, backstage and touring paraphernalia, album art, photography, stage designs, personal diaries and never before released audio and behind-the-scenes footage.

This holiday season, “Sons of Anarchy” star Kim Coates is teaming up with the USO to tell Americans how they can give a gift that gives twice through the USO Wishbook, the alternative giving catalog designed to support our deployed troops, military families, wounded warriors and their families and families of the fallen.
A USO tour veteran, Coates learned first-hand on his 2010 USO tour, with fellow cast members Theo Rossi, Mark Boone Junior and Dayton Callie, how tough deployments can be for our troops and their families. His experience is one of the reasons he’s once again decided to partner with the USO and help spread the word about USO Wishbook.

before recording "shepherd´s song" Conny Plank took a long break to mix a Kraftwerk-concert in the Hamburg Markthalle. When he returned he brought a lot of friends with him and up in smoke we went
- that night we really forgot to record the 6 minutes jazzy part of the song; the only thing left is a real strange final chorus, that everybody in the studio at that time( about 3 a.m) who joined in spontaneously
the next morning we departed for our hometown. all I remember is:

Volvo Car Group is now starting production of the first engine variants in the new, high-efficiency four-cylinder engine family. The development and production take place in-house at Volvo Car Group and form a vital part of the company’s strategy for independence.
The strategy of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines and driveline electrification is the path that Volvo Cars has chosen for the future. With total control over the development and production of engines and drivelines and by reducing the number of engine variants, the result is increased flexibility and greater ability to influence quality.
