DEWALT unveils the FLEXVOLT™ system, which features the world’s first battery that automatically changes voltage when the user changes tools. The FLEXVOLT™ battery powers a new lineup of brushless 60V MAX* and 120V MAX* FLEXVOLT™ tools. What makes the FLEXVOLT™ battery (DCB606) extremely innovative is its patent-pending technology that is backwards compatible with most existing DEWALT 20V MAX* tools and chargers. When used in DEWALT 20V MAX* tools, the FLEXVOLT™ battery provides up to 4X runtime**. In addition, the FLEXVOLT™ battery provides more than 3X battery power versus DEWALT 18V NiCad.
The key to this technology is the ability of the FLEXVOLT™ battery to switch between DEWALT tools of varying voltages (20V MAX*, 60V MAX* and 120V MAX*). The FLEXVOLT™ battery automatically changes voltage depending on whether it’s being used in a 20V MAX* or 60V MAX* tool. Two FLEXVOLT™ batteries together power the new DEWALT 120V MAX* tools. This means that high power tool applications that previously could only be accomplished by corded tools, can now be performed with the DEWALT FLEXVOLT™ system of cordless tools. Corindus Vascular Robotics, a leading developer of precision vascular robotics, today announced FDA 510(k) clearance has been granted for the CorPath 200 System to be used in percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). The technology is now approved in the United States to assist interventional cardiologists in performing PCI, a procedure to restore blood flow to blocked arteries in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).

The long-term partnership between MSC Cruises and Cirque du Soleil will set new standards in live entertainment at sea. The world leader in artistic entertainment will create a total of eight original shows exclusively available on MSC Cruises’ Meraviglia generation ships, coming into service between June 4, 2017 – with MSC Meraviglia – and Fall 2020.

Eighteen years after opening its internationally prominent Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) celebrates 1,000 fetal surgeries – highly complex surgical interventions to repair birth defects in the womb. Approximately 4,000 fetal surgeries have been done worldwide, meaning a quarter of them have been performed at CHOP, the largest number of any hospital in the world.

Based in Las Vegas, Carey Hart started his tattoo shop, Hart and Huntington on a whim. His shop's success quickly spread and A&E created a show about him and his tattoo shop called, Inked. Since then, Hart & Huntington has opened shop in Honolulu, Cabo San Lucas and Orlando.
