First day leading up to The Big Fat English Wedding as we called it. To get into the swing of things the photographic team checked out the famous, Famagusta Napa boat trip, complete with it's glass bottom. Beautiful beaches and bays between Ayia Napa and Protaras. Interviewed people visiting Cyprus for the first time.

In Budapest, a woman driver takes her car out for a drive immediately after a flood, finding herself suddenly engulfed & stuck in a huge water puddle. Trying to get out, to no avail, her car is sunk & she eventually has to get out & start swimming. Get a laugh as an old man yells at her while she rolls down the window wondering why she can't drive anymore. Totally failtastic! The Dodge brand is targeting multicultural millennials1 with a Spanish/English ad campaign for the 2013 Dodge Dart featuring global music sensation Pitbull. The rapper, who utters his signature “¡Dale!” (“Let’s do this!”) phrase in the spots, also composed original instrumental music called “Drop 2 the Bottom” for the commercials: “How to Change Cars Forever” and “How to Break Through and Succeed.” The campaign reflects the Dodge brand’s focus on targeting multicultural millennials for the compact car segment.

CEB (NYSE: CEB), a best practice insight and technology company, today announced the launch of CEB Precise Fit. This new high-volume recruiting solution combines a candidate-friendly mobile experience with industry-leading predictive analytics to deliver more than 20 percent improvement on applicant quality. CEB Precise Fit is the only assessment solution that was built expressly for the mobile platform and that offers the candidate real-time feedback during the process, helping them determine whether the job is a good fit. This results in a more positive brand experience for the candidate and a more qualified, higher-performing applicant for the employer.
The traditional hiring process is cumbersome for all involved. Recruiters have to sort through three times the applications they did just a few years ago and it takes them 26 days longer to make a hire than it did in 2010. Despite this, there’s been no real improvement in quality of hire. Candidates have their own challenges with the process – putting forth all of their effort upfront with limited knowledge of the day-to-day requirements of the position; not hearing back from an employer after submitting an application – which results in a negative recruitment experience. These experiences cost brands more than just great talent; they can directly impact the bottom line since one-in-five candidates who report a negative recruiting experience stop using or purchasing products from that brand.

Quadriplegic former IndyCar driver and current team owner Sam Schmidt completed the bottom half of the challenging, high-altitude Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb yesterday in the Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) Semi-Autonomous Motorcar (SAM car).
Schmidt, who was paralyzed from the neck down in a crash during an IndyCar practice lap in 2000, is able to steer, accelerate and brake the modified 2016 Corvette Z06 SAM car using only his head. Sensors mounted on an Arrow-designed high-tech headset that Schmidt wears connect to infrared cameras mounted on the dashboard and detect his head-tilt motions to steer. A sip-and-puff device that Smith breathes into enables him to accelerate and brake.
