Royal Caribbean International, the cruise line known for its innovative, industry-leading ship design, amenities, programming and activities is once again taking steps to ensure that its newest class of ships, the Quantum-class, debuts with the hottest, most exciting lineup of offerings at sea. The cruise line today announced the introduction of the Quantum Experience Advisors program featuring a group of celebrity experts in fields such as design, sports & fitness, entertainment and others who will work hand-in-hand with Royal Caribbean’s internal teams to provide their expertise to help shape interior design, key amenities and activities on the Quantum-class. Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas are set to debut in November 2014 and April 2015 respectively. Coty Inc., a leading global beauty company, has announced a partnership agreement with the National Geographic Society, identifying Davidoff Cool Water as a partner for the Pristine Seas program. The ocean covers 72% of the surface of the Earth, but only 1% is protected. National Geographic, through the Pristine Seas Expeditions, seeks to protect some of the last pristine spots of the oceans and to create marine protected areas. The partnership kicks off with an expedition to the Pitcairn Islands (UK territory) in the Pacific Ocean. Dr. Enric Sala, a marine ecologist and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence who has dedicated his career to finding ways to mitigate human impacts on marine life, will lead the expedition.
