Eagle Rare will donate $30,000 to Evans’ charity, American Fallen Warrior Memorial Foundation (www.afwmf.org). Evans, who founded the charity in March 2011, is in the process of raising funds to establish a 20-acre, $30 million memorial honoring the memory of all military personnel lost since the first Gulf War and in Operations Desert Storm, Desert Shield, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and all peripheral operations in the war on terror.

More than 80,000 healthcare workers and their communities from across the country and around the world joined together in the Medline Pink Glove Dance for breast cancer online video competition. After a hard-fought dance battle, the online votes are in and Medline is pleased to name Geisinger Health System, Danville, Pa., as the winner. As a result, $25,000 will be donated to their charity of choice, the American Cancer Society, providing free transportation for treatment to central Pennsylvania breast cancer patients in need. Additionally, Medline and participating hospitals will donate another $1 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and various local breast cancer charities nationwide. Eagle Rare will donate $40,000 to Goodwin’s charity, Thumbs Up for Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation, and host an awards ceremony in Henderson on March 7. Angie and her late son Lane started the foundation to support childhood cancer research through funding and advocacy and to assist families battling childhood cancer by providing education, financial assistance and a volunteer network.
