Award-winning Half Moon Cay, Holland America Line’s private Bahamian island, celebrated its 15th anniversary this Caribbean cruise season, and to commemorate the milestone the cruise line has enhanced island offerings and features.
Guests to the island will notice five new, colorful, two-story Beach Villas available for rent during each call. The luxury hideaways boast exclusive hot tubs on the second floor and provide private accommodations for guests while they relax and experience the island’s highlights. Season 3 of Food Network’s top-rated series Chopped All-Stars returns Sunday, April 7th at 9pm ET/PT, as sixteen culinary competitors battle it out for the title of All-Star champion and a $50,000 prize for the winner’s charity. The five-part competition series, hosted by Ted Allen, includes four chefs going head-to-head each week in themed episodes featuring Food Network chefs vs. Cooking Channel chefs, an all-out battle of the Mega Chefs, the much anticipated battle of the Chopped judges, and a can’t miss culinary showdown as four celebrities with a shared love of cooking compete against each other in the Chopped kitchen. Kubota Corporation today announced the grand opening of its new $73 million manufacturing facility at Kubota Industrial Equipment (KIE) in Jefferson, Ga. As part of Global Youth Traffic Safety Month™ , the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Mazda Motorsports, the Ad Council and the National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) announced the six high school and college winners of their second annual Project Yellow Light scholarship contest. “One Text or Call Could Wreck It All,” was the theme of this year’s contest. Entrants were asked to develop and produce a short video that would depict for their peers the dangers of risky mobile behavior on our Nation’s roadways. The high school grand prize was awarded to Brittany Devasure, a senior from North Carolina, for her video. For the first time, the contest was open to college students. Rachel Hall, who studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music, was recognized as the grand prize winner for her video.
