Toyota engineers were challenged to design a new mid-sized concept for potential global market introduction by 2015. The NS4 concept is a dedicated plug-in hybrid, separate from the Prius family, designed with future mobility requirements in mind.

Nissan has confirmed the performance statistics for Juke-R – the supercar crossover concept that combines the power and handling of the legendary GT-R with the bold design of Juke.
Juke-R's 485bhp 3.8-litre V6 twin turbo engine propels the car from a standing start to 100kph in just 3.7 seconds, before continuing on to a top speed of 257kph.

During 2012 Helsinki, the capital of Finland, will explore the benefits and value of design, and showcase the ways it can improve our cities.
WDC Helsinki 2012 started its year with New Year’s Eve of Design on the 31st of December 2011. Approximately 30,000 people gathered to celebrate the beginning of the year in the heart of Helsinki.
