Hailed as “one of the country’s best fast-food burgers, period,” the Impossible Slider debuted in April at 140 White Castle locations in New York, New Jersey and Chicago. Based on the overwhelming success of the pilot program, White Castle - largely credited for inventing the slider- is expanding availability of the Impossible Slider starting today to all 377 of its restaurants in 13 states -- from New York to St. Louis.

Cole Haan, the iconic American lifestyle brand and retailer, is excited to announce their partnership with three extraordinary stylists – Karla Welch, Simone Harouche, and Erin Walsh – to collaborate on a one-of-a-kind limited-edition collection for Fall 2018.
These three renowned stylists brought a unique and specialized purview to six iconic Cole Haan silhouettes, through which a final collection of 16 stunning designs were created. Karla Welch, applied her design aesthetic which blends modern minimalism, structured sophistication and effortless cool in the customization and design of each silhouette to create a chic capsule featuring the Vesta pump - a favorite style that transitions seamlessly from day to night. Erin Walsh, known for bringing an elegant editor’s eye to every look, used the Vesta pump as a foundation to integrate the whimsical style she’s famous for. The Polynesian Cultural Center is inviting guests to experience the allure and adventure of ocean life through its newest water show, Huki, which made its debut on August 18.
The canoe celebration, staged at the state’s only water performance venue, explores Polynesian myths and customs, inspiring ancient history, and beloved island songs.
Huki replaces the previous afternoon canoe pageant, Rainbows of Paradise, that had entertained residents and visitors for the past 16 years.
“We are excited to share with our guests, a brand-new canoe celebration at the Polynesian Cultural Center,” said Alfred Grace, CEO and president of the Polynesian Cultural Center. “Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that Huki’s story authentically captures the unique history and folklore of Polynesia and that our facilities are renovated and reinvigorated to ensure that the experience is elevated for all of our guests.”

Matt Cogar proved he’s one of the best lumberjack athletes of all time. Cogar won the 2018 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® U.S. Pro Championship in front of thousands of raucous Wisconsin fans and became the only American athlete to ever win six straight U.S. titles. His victory also gives him the honor of representing the U.S. at the 2018 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Individual World Championship in October in Liverpool, England.
This year STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® made history by having the American women compete on the same stage as the men. Erin LaVoie outlasted an incredibly talented field of female athletes to win the Women’s Division Championship. This was the second year of the Women’s Division.
