At Munich’s real estate exhibition last week, Russia’s leading e-commerce company, Ulmart, hosted a “working breakfast” to discuss the nuances and intricacies of investing in Russia today during times of heightened international tension.

As National Manufacturing Month begins, Whirlpool Corporation is celebrating its history and embracing progress in the manufacturing industry. Whirlpool Corporation is proud to be a Gold Supporter of Manufacturing Day 2017 and will be marking the day with a series of events in the local communities of its manufacturing plants across the country.
Whirlpool Corporation will invite select groups of high school and college students as well as community leaders to take part in a variety of activities at its U.S. plants. Rebuilding Together is providing free critical home repairs to eligible homeowners affected by Superstorm Sandy through our affiliates in New York City, Long Island, Bergen County, Jersey City, and Essex County. As of October 2013, these affiliates have brought together over 3,150 volunteers to complete work on more than 250 projects that assist more than 430 people.

Clayton, one of the largest home builders in America, helped fulfill the dreams of an East Tennessee Children’s Hospital cancer patient by giving him the opportunity to design a Clayton home using CAD software commonly used at home building facilities.
Jake Clark, 16, became an honorary member of the Clayton team on Nov. 22 during a special ‘Team Jake’ celebration event at a home building facility in Bean Station, Tenn. His interests in construction projects with his dad, a home contractor, and his talents in drawing and 3D design made Jake the perfect fit to visit Clayton. While visiting the home building facility, the cancer survivor sat with a home designer and created a home model floor plan of his own, which was named “The Jake” in his honor.

With a happy “Muchas Gracias”, Martha Veronica Rocha received the 13 kg bronze statue for her organization FUPROSOMUNIC in the studio of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation Salzburg. Salzburg Governor Wilfried Haslauer, Mayor Heinz Schaden, Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church Peter Turkson and Energy Globe Founder Wolfgang Neumann presented the award. Austria also excelled as a category winner in “Fire.” Wolfgang Neumann: “These projects are a strong signal – they show the world that our environmental problems can be solved.”
