Bayer Healthcare, the makers of Coppertone®, kicked off an exciting multi-year deal with U.S. Soccer and the National Women’s Soccer League to encourage the use of sun protection on and off the field and help soccer fans across the country enjoy every minute of the game. Christen Press, star forward for the U.S. Women’s National Team, will be joined by fellow soccer stars Graham Zusi, Kelley O’Hara, and Matt Besler as brand ambassadors for Coppertone.
“I’m so excited to be a Coppertone brand ambassador because as an athlete, taking care of my body is a huge part of my job and sunscreen is a vital part of that,” said Press. “Whether I’m running up and down the field or running errands, I make it a point to ensure that my skin is protected. Everyone, especially athletes and fans everywhere, need to make sunscreen and sun protection a priority.”

The FCBARCELONA PHOTO AWARDS are sports-themed awards, aimed at top-class artists that use photography as a creative vehicle, as well as professional photographers and photojournalists that see sports as a way of artistic expression.
Knowing that FC Barcelona has launched these awards, the first question that arises in our mind is why is a football club organizing a photo competition like this?
It is normal that the initiative causes a certain effect of surprise. A priori, it is difficult to understand why a football club wants to take part in areas that may seem so remote from the world of football such as culture, art and education.

To celebrate the 116th anniversary of the invention of modern air conditioning, Carrier is donating dozens of heating and cooling systems to Habitat for Humanity’s annual Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, including systems that support net zero energy. For the first time, four Habitat homes of St. Joseph County will achieve this distinction, meaning they will produce as much renewable energy as they consume over the course of a year. Carrier, a world leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
Net zero energy home construction is a bold departure from conventional homebuilding. Constructed to be air-tight, the homes are well-insulated, energy efficient, carbon emission-free, and they result in a net zero energy bill. High efficiency climate controls systems are essential in achieving a net zero home. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the typical American home spends approximately 43 percent of their energy bills on heating and cooling.
