According to a recent MorningStar Farms® survey, 63 percent of Americans agree that backyard barbecues are the biggest temptation to stray from better-eating efforts when compared to summer dining opportunities like road trips and food festivals. This summer, MorningStar Farms is battling the allure of heavier barbecue fare with its flavorful meatless burgers and assistance from Chef Carla Hall, cohost of ABC’s “The Chew” and former “Top Chef” competitor and fan favorite.

Any chef will tell you the choices you make in the grocery store can impact the quality of your output in the kitchen. According to TV chef personality and cookbook author Aida Mollenkamp, the first step to becoming a great home chef is to first be a responsible one – and that means knowing where your food comes from.
“You wouldn’t drive a car without the keys, so you shouldn’t cook without first having keys to the kitchen,” says Mollenkamp, author of the acclaimed cookbook Keys To The Kitchen (Chronicle Books, 2012).

For a long time, Thailand, as well as many countries in the world, had have the perception that women’s place is in the home, or rather, in the kitchen. But when it came to national or international achievements regarding gastronomic art and skills, women chefs always played second fiddle to men ones. The fact, which was and is still true, seems to be proved by the smaller number of acclaimed Thai female chefs when compared to males. However, there is an emerging trend that female chefs are rising to the top, claiming their management position in and out of the kingdom. Take this lady as a sample Ms. Navamas Lakanankoon
