The Coaster Capital of New England is proud to bring the latest in ride technology and innovation to Massachusetts. The Wicked Cyclone offers the ultimate in thrills and adrenaline by combining the extreme characteristics of both steel and wood. Meteorology students from Western Connecticut State University and celebrity storm chaser Reed Timmer from Discovery Channel’s “Storm Chasers” are among the inaugural riders.

Complementing the idea that “Each drop of Hennessy X.O. is an Odyssey,” the Oscar® nominated director of The Martian and Gladiator, as well as cult films Alien and Blade Runner, creates a visual journey that explores the blend’s seven flavor profiles in a surreal, sensorial and immersive narrative. Bonefish Grill is turning National Martini Day into a month-long celebration in June. While the official day dedicated to America’s favorite cocktail is June 19th, the fresh fish experts are offering guests a flavorful array of hand-crafted martinis priced at $5 every Monday for the entire month.
Bonefish Grill martinis are already a favorite on the restaurant’s extensive bar menu – perfectly complementing their wood-grilled fresh fish and seasonal seafood offerings. In fact, the mighty martini is on-the-rise nationwide. Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. continues to innovate and redefine the barbecue experience with the opening of a completely redesigned concept store in Dallas, and plans to roll out nationwide with all future locations. The model features a modern, rustic technology-driven experience while offering the same authentic, slow-smoked barbecue that Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has been known for over the last 74 years.
From the design and décor to square footage and improved efficiencies, the location based in Dallas at 2525 Wycliff Ave. Ste. 130 is now open. Many existing Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations will also be retrofitted with aspects of the new model. The redesign features a holistic sensory experience, from décor made largely of sustainably-sourced, reclaimed wood to the hand-crafted design elements highlighting Dickey’s history on the walls paired with a specially curated Texas singer/songwriter playlist heard from a Bose surround sound speaker system. The new design showcases an open kitchen floor plan so that guests have full visibility into where and how their high quality meals are smoked on-site. A custom glass butcher case displays fresh meats behind the cashier while the pit sits directly behind the block, where Dickey’s seven featured meats are pit-smoked low and slow daily on-site, in a real hickory wood pit, unlike much of the competition.

A vastly changing landscape would certainly capture one’s attention. The nation’s trees face an immediate threat from the Asian longhorned beetle (ALB), a devastating invasive pest with no natural predators. With up to 70 percent of the U.S. tree canopy at risk of being lost to this pest, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is spreading the word about the beetle this summer with a series of TV, radio and print public service announcements (PSAs).
The adult Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) is active throughout the summer months and into the fall. This invasive pest was first discovered in the U.S. in 1996, likely arriving here unknowingly inside wood packing material from Asia. The insect threatens recreational areas, forests, and suburban and urban shade trees. The beetle attacks 12 genera of trees, including birch, maple and elm. It is truly a landscape-altering invasive pest. And all states are at risk.

Hosting a four stateroom layout plus crew quarters, The Rock can sleep up to eight guest and two crew. Walking onto the aft deck provides outdoor dining with seating for eight and easy access to the fly-bridge or extended swim platform.
Upon entering the main salon you will immediately notice a large leather U shaped settee to starboard and port with a drop down projection screen TV. The high gloss cherry and burl wood throughout is an added bonus showing off the yachts finish. Forward of the settee is a wet bar to port with stool for two and day-head.
The dining table can seat eight guest with a large custom cherry table to match. Forward of the dining table is access to the raised pilothouse as well as to the forward galley and separate crew quarters with a shower and head.
The starboard staircase leads to the two guest staterooms all ensuite heads followed to the spacious Master Stateroom ensuite with a cedar lined walk in closet.
On the port side aft in the main salon is a stairwell down to the VIP stateroom and engine room.
