Nick Jonas celebrated the unveiling of the specialty retailer’s 2014 Holiday Windows. This event marked the 100th anniversary of Lord & Taylor’s iconic Fifth Avenue building.
Nick Jonas joined the retailer in unveiling the windows and performed two traditional holiday songs as well as two songs from his recently released self-titled solo debut, including his chart-topping single and radio hit, “Jealous”. Following his performance, Nick Jonas made an in-store appearance, where he took photos with customers and handed out signed copies of his recently released self-titled album.

What can I say about this one that I haven't said before? ....... "SCOOBY DOOBY DOO DOOWAH" ..... I don't think that I've ever said that before on any of my prior songs ..... Maybe I said "Zippity Doo Da" or "Yabba Dabba Doo." ...... What I did do this time was to sneakily rip a vocal line off of a marvelous singer going by the name of Isabella Peter Blue "No relationship to Little Boy Blue" and inserted her voice into this song ..... The Polynesian Cultural Center is inviting guests to experience the allure and adventure of ocean life through its newest water show, Huki, which made its debut on August 18.
The canoe celebration, staged at the state’s only water performance venue, explores Polynesian myths and customs, inspiring ancient history, and beloved island songs.
Huki replaces the previous afternoon canoe pageant, Rainbows of Paradise, that had entertained residents and visitors for the past 16 years.
“We are excited to share with our guests, a brand-new canoe celebration at the Polynesian Cultural Center,” said Alfred Grace, CEO and president of the Polynesian Cultural Center. “Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that Huki’s story authentically captures the unique history and folklore of Polynesia and that our facilities are renovated and reinvigorated to ensure that the experience is elevated for all of our guests.”

Last night, MGM Resorts International celebrated the milestone grand opening of its newest live entertainment venue on the Las Vegas Strip – Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The dazzling theater came to life with inaugural performances by legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks and renowned rock group The Pretenders.
The evening began with an unforgettable performance by The Pretenders, wowing guests with rousing renditions of their most beloved songs including “I’ll Stand By You” and “Back On the Chain Gang.” Then, prior to taking the stage, Nicks was presented with an honorary key to the theater and commemorated the unveiling of the venue by autographing a backstage wall, starting a tradition for all Park Theater performers to come.
