Grove and Alex Jones from Info Wars seem to be inseparable whenever the
topic of conspiracies come up in conversation. I saw a show called Brad
Meltzer's Decoded on The History Channel with an episode about the
Grove in California. I had heard of it but not familiar with the
secrets and conspiracies surrounding the place and it's members.
Likewise with Jones, I had heard of him but that was about it. Ten
minutes into this show, I was hooked! I couldn't believe I didn't know
more about this story being the sucker that I am for a good conspiracy
theory. After watching the entire show and becoming fixated on the
story, I also watched the Alex Jones documentary

Red Hawk Elementary’s Red Hawk Movement, Erie, Colo. – Movement and exercise are more than activities at Red Hawk Elementary, they are foundational elements of the school culture. As a new public school in the St. Vrain Valley School District located outside of Denver, Red Hawk built physical activity into the plan from day one. Using a rotating daily “movement calendar,” students gain 40 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity on a daily basis, in addition to scheduled PE class and recess. These structured routines are taught by the professional PE staff outdoors or in the gym, and can be repeated in the classroom with student leaders taking charge. Strategically placed 20-minute blocks occur once in the morning to increase energy and attentiveness at the start of the day, and once in the afternoon immediately before math and science, the most challenging academic subjects. Favorite activities include the ‘Red Hawk Walk,’ in which students power-walk along designated routes throughout the building, as well as in-class cardio and dance breaks. Each Friday the week ends with “All-School Movement,” when all 460 students, faculty and staff head outside to participate in a coordinated fitness routine set to popular music.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the world’s greatest speed eaters recently battled in the Alamo City to claim victory in the La Costeña Feel the Heat Jalapeño Eating Championship Challenge. After ten fiery minutes, including a double overtime one-on-one challenge with the reigning champion, Pat “Deep Dish” Bertoletti emerged victorious by consuming 275 whole pickled jalapeños. The fourth annual challenge was a highly anticipated rematch between the reigning champ – five-foot-tall, 105-pound Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas – and Bertoletti, the mohawked, two-time title winner from Chicago. Butta Verses, a Bronx-bred rapper who now calls Fort Lauderdale, Florida home, made his debut appearance on De La Soul’s 2004 release The Grind Date spitting back to back with Posdonus on the song “No.” Butta’s name was bestowed upon him by fellow MCs at local ciphers but once his mixtape reached the ears of DJ Maseo from De La Soul, his rhymes started reaching neighborhoods around the world. Maseo signed Butta to his Bear Mountain Entertainment label and he began touring with De La Soul to promote The Grind Date. Butta released several mixtapes while playing over 200 shows on De La Soul’s international tour and began recording with his crew GCD (Glee Club Detention) as well as Seattle’s Vitamin D and Bean One for his Bear Mountain debut, Brand Spankin.
Having completed his term with Bear Mountain, Butta focused on live performances, sharing the stage with such veterans as Wu Tang Clan, KRS-One, Boot Camp Click and many others. Though no longer signed with Maseo, Butta was heard in late 2006 on De La Soul’s old-school flavored track, “You Got It” from Impossible Mission.
