Reed Street Productions, creators of the first-ever zombie-infested 5K obstacle race, Run for Your Lives, announced today it will double its races in 2013 – expanding to 21 locations, including nine yet-to-be-invaded cities. New this year, participants can expect to encounter increasingly challenging obstacles and an enhanced Apocalypse Party experience. Additionally, Run For Your Lives added the Kennedy Krieger Institute – an internationally recognized institution dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disorders and injuries of the brain – as its official charitable partner for 2013.

A party that started at 8,000 feet high and thousands on-ground looking up into the sky, ended as the most intense party on earth, especially for MaryJo Villar from Houston who jumped off the Takis helicopter and skydived into the by-invitation-only event. Villar won the Takis Airdrop Face the Intensity photo contest by submitting a picture of her first-ever skydiving jump on the 2-million-fan Takis USA Facebook page.

Very enjoyable stay here leading up to the wedding with, happy hour being a firm favorite with the girls. Al Maryah Island hosted Abu Dhabi’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration, a spectacular evening of music and fireworks. Thousands of families and friends filled the island’s waterfront Promenade where they enjoyed an electrifying concert with Emirati star Hussain Al Jassmi, Egyptian pop sensation Mohamed Hamaki, and winner of Arab Idol 2015, Mohammed Assaf.
More than 10,000 people enjoyed hearing their favourite songs performed during the five-hour show, which culminated in an exhilarating midnight countdown, followed by a breath-taking firework display.
The evening was a landmark occasion in Al Maryah Island’s colourful events calendar and was staged through a partnership between Mubadala and Platinum Records, the leading record label company which operates under the umbrella of MBC Group.
