Centennial College's Interactive Media Management program takes place over the course of three semesters and prepares students for today’s world of interactive technology, media and innovation. It emphasizes strategy, user experience, content production, narrative and process management skills in the interactive digital media industry with an emphasis on understanding industry, processes, job roles and documentation skills. The program is designed to turn students into effective producers working in the communicating media landscape.
Centennial College's Police Foundations program is a two-year program that consists of intense training equivalent to that of a paramilitary environment, which helps students to develop discipline and deportment. Courses are based on real-life experiences and case studies that incorporate a fundamental perspective on life. The program successfully prepares graduates for careers in the various police and military forces or in the field of security and related occupations and they have the ability to withstand pressure, communicate effectively, act as problem-solvers and help people in the community.
Thousands of teens from more than 3,200 high schools across the U.S. and Canada are committing to safe driving as part of the State Farm Celebrate My Drive® program. During Teen Driver Safety Week, high school students, staff and community members are encouraged to visit celebratemydrive.com once daily between 12 a.m. CT on October 15, 2014 through 11:59 p.m. CT on October 24, 2014 and commit to safe driving. Centennial College's Heavy Duty Equipment Technician is a two-year program in which students spend the first eight months in school, eight months in co-op as a registered apprentice and a final eight months in school. As part of the in-school curriculum, students train on heavy duty equipment assemblies in fully-equipped heavy duty equipment labs.
UNCF and the Ad Council are joining Paramount Pictures to launch a series of public service advertisements (PSAs) featuring footage from the upcoming film SELMA and original music written for the film by Common and John Legend. The :30 television spot, created pro bono by Paramount Pictures, will air on television stations in donated media around the country starting this week.
The PSAs are an extension of UNCF and Ad Council’s Better Futures campaign which aims to help African American students get to and through college by demonstrating how an investment in young people is an investment in all our futures. The campaign is a focused effort to remind Americans that their investments in education can change the life of a well-deserving student, and more importantly, the lives of generations to come.

Astana Expo-2017 is pleased to present the results of its student project. Unusual Marathon EXPO 2017, designed to draw the world's attention to the International specialized exhibition in Astana, was launched in October 2014. It invited Kazakh students studying in China, Great Britain, Hungary, USA, France, Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Malaysia and the UAE to participate in a large-scale campaign.

At a time when educators and policymakers are placing a high priority on quality early childhood education, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts today announced results of a four-year study showing that its arts integration teaching model bolsters young children’s math achievement. The RCS Engineers Rocketry Team from Russellville, Ala., beat out 100 competitors to claim first place at the National Finals of the 2015 Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC). After months of rocketry design, test flights and qualification launches, hundreds of students from across the country traveled to Great Meadow in the Plains, Va., to vie for the title of champion of the largest rocketry competition in the world.
