Since the flooding in Pakistan began one month ago, more than 20 million people throughout the country have been affected. In an effort to help raise funds for relief, recovery and reconstruction efforts, the U.S. Government, through the Department of State, created the Pakistan Relief Fund (the Fund). In television and radio PSAs released by the Ad Council today, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton encourages all Americans to donate to the Fund, which will help those who are in need.

As I'm approaching the time of certain eviction, I've been proving to myself what a little pressure can do to get the creative juices flowing and I am somewhat amazed by how quickly I have been creating and organizing enough videos that would have normally stretched out the span of this year and probably throughout 2014, all inside the time frame of a month. Particularly in the case of this song which is one of several songs that I have been working on that are somewhat more complex and exhibit my full potential as a musician. This song would have normally taken me a full year to compose and like some of my other prouder creations, I figured that there just was no time left for me to complete this kind of composition. Although admittedly I did rough it as I wrapped up the song in a day and took about one hour on the video but I think that with this one, I have successfully achieved my goal. I can always redo this at a later time when I get resettled and back in the groove.

Charlamagne and guests including Vinny Guadagnino will share why they’re down to adopt shelter pets and will hang with Charm, an adoptable puppy from St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in New Jersey.

The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, has collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security to launch a new PSA campaign in October to educate the American public in conjunction with National Cyber Security Awareness Month. After 6 months touring the UK conquering its four corners and everything in between, Liverpudian indie kids, The Steeples will release their second single Loosy Lucy on 23rd June. A combination of crafted songwriting, passionate performance and shear ‘blood, sweat and beers’ have seen them already convert unsuspecting gig goers to bona fide ‘Steeple People,’ throughout the land.
With a bouncy boyish playfulness, and heartfelt yearning, the Steeples ‘Loosy Lucy’ takes us to a familiar heartache of a past relationship when the grass seems greener. Their sincerity is balanced with a jovialness that results in an upbeat pop song, saving us from an unwanted adolescent angst or depressing dirge. Jenny whose partner was killed in a shootout with car theft suspects save a three month year old baby after a truck was on fire. The mother has died and the baby was rushed to Texas children memorial hospital for medical treatment where he almost died from his injuries. The war between bloods and crips will never end.
