Diese Aufgabe hat bei Peugeot die am 21. September auf den Markt kommende neue Generation des 308, der seit seinem Erscheinen in 2001 immerhin insgesamt 4,2 Millionen Käufer fand. Und dies dringend – denn trotz ordentlicher Verkäufe des neuen 208 befindet sich Peugeot bei uns nach wie vor im Rückwärtsgang. Bis einschließlich August beträgt das Zulassungsminus satte 28,9 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum und das bei einem durchschnittlichen Branchen-Gesamtrückgang von 6,6 Prozent. Mit einer Länge von 4,25 Metern ist der neue 308 die kompakteste Limousine ihres Segments. Auch der Karosserieüberhang fällt vorn wie hinten überraschend kurz aus, was ihm eine dynamische Optik verleiht, ohne die Platzverhältnisse im Innenraum einzuschränken. Dank des auf 2,52 Meter vergrößerten Radstands profitieren Insassen im Innenraum von mehr Bewegungsfreiheit. Das Kofferraumvolumen von 470 Litern (VDA-Norm: 420 Liter), von dem 35 Liter unter dem Bodenteppich versteckt sind, stellt nach Angaben von Peugeot einen Rekordwert im Segment dar. Darüber hinaus gibt es im Innenraum zahlreiche weitere Ablagemöglichkeiten wie das zwölf Liter große Handschuhfach oder die großen Seitentaschen an den Vordertüren.
Die ersten reinen Golf-Stromer sind Im Volkswagen Werk Wolfsburg vor einigen Tagen von der Montagelinie gerollt, im Sommer werden wir die ersten e-Golf dann auf unseren Straßen sehen. VW schließt damit als erster Autohersteller einen Kreis, der - innerhalb einer Baureihe - alle heute relevanten Antriebssysteme - Benziner und Diesel, Erdgas-Variante, Plug-in-Hybrid (GTE) und reiner Elektroantrieb - beinhaltet. Der potentielle Käufer hat also die Qual der Wahl, wobei der neue Stromer es am schwersten haben dürfte. 34.900 Euro sind schließlich ein Wort und auch die noch mangelhafte Ladestationen-Infrastruktur dürfte sich auf die Verkaufslust auswirken. Daran ändert auch nichts, dass der Stromer mit seinem niedrigen Verbrauchswert von 12,7 kWh/100 km mit den Energiekosten knausert und damit im Alltag den Geldbeutel schont - pro 100 Kilometer fallen lediglich 3,28 Euro an. Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced it has achieved a significant milestone in transceiver technology by becoming the first company to successfully demonstrate 25-Gbps transceiver performance in programmable logic. Altera achieved this milestone in its 28-nm transceiver test chip, a prototyping platform that Altera is using to succeassfully deploy 28-Gbps transceivers on 28-nm FPGAs.
